For those who don't even know for some reason, the Smash Bros universe is fake. It points that out in the intro of Super Smash Bros. Master Hand grabs toy plushes out of a chest, and they start fighting. And did you notice that in the very, very beginning of the Super Smash Bros Melee intro, there is a boy's hand who grabs the Mario trophy, and chucks it into the intro? All of the characters are just toys. Not starting a rant, but I just felt like pointing this out.

That's true. All it is is a bunch of toys, well, wrestling. But, who cares? Ignoring that fact is the reason the game is fun! Sure, the toys end up breaking a hand sooner or later, but, still.

I knew that. In the original they turned into dolls in the end. I did stuff like that with my toys as a kid too. But I wouldn't make my toys fight my hands... or let myself get enslaved by another one of my toys.

I actually started pulling this together when I was smaller actually I believe that the Smash Bros are just toys just being controlled by a little boy or adult maybe since most little boys play with toys aggressively especially if they watched a action movie maybe he is controlling them.
Master hand is just a little boy playing toys.

Never really thought of it like that but now that you mention it and everyone who replied to this thread went into detail I actually piece it all together! To be honest I never really dug deep with that series just because it was only about battling your friends in tournaments when you had a sleep over party. It was just that type of game where even in adventure mode you really did not care for the story and still would not look into it very deeply just because of the game being as it is. I do thank you for pointing it out though, will definitely talk to my friends who worshiped the series at one point because I do not think that they would have caught that either.

PixelBrick : Yes, but that intro is exactly what got my attention towards Super Smash Bros in the first place. Otherwise many of the franchises in it would have their storyline ruined and un logical with the exception for Mario franchise perhaps, since they don't follow a linear storyline throughout their games.

Even if the game was made with real based characters. It wouldn't be real. Video games themselves are Fake and Not realstic or anything.

To me when I noticed this growing up I thought it strange but I always ended up thinking about it more and more. It is a really nice touch that they do. To a point its like each character comes into their own universe so how would they, for whatever reason, end up running into each other and clash like they do. Now I understand Brawl has a story for all of that, that's just fine.

But the classic intro for the first smash bros was something to be drawn in by. Its a game/intro that says "Imagination is everything", to a point at least. Its probably the reason why I loved the Master Hand fights so much because whomever the child is in control has had their selected character go through the trials and then the chosen character fights the biggest boss of them all, "the master".

Its a small detail to the game I always loved. But hey, thanks for pointing it out and reminding me of that.
