Does anyone use it?

http://www.duelingnetwork.com/

For those who don't know, they have a giant database that contains every card that has been released along with some that are going to be released soon. For example, the next set is Shadow Specters. It won't be released for another month or so (not really sure), but every Shadow Specters card is already on DN. That way if someone wants to test out one of the Shadow Specters archetypes so they can decide if they want to use it, they get that opportunity.

It's also good for just testing decks in general. Like I made a Cloudian deck. Cloudians are an old archetype and I was curious how they worked. Make the deck, duel other people for a while decide I enjoy it. Now that I know I like it, I'll trade for the cards I need rather than trading ahead of time and finding out I don't like the deck.

You can also take screenshots of decks. I do that then send them to myself over email and use my phone to download them from there. Or you can just print it out. That way you can tell people exactly what cards you need.

Only major drawback is you can't run the site on a phone.

P.S. This is my Cloudian deck-

I use Dueling Network quite often actually. I prefer to use my Cyber Dragon OTK or my Exodia lock to win my duels. Although most the people on ranked use Dark worlds or the same overused Dragon decks so I tend to avoid it.

P.S : I got a friend who uses a cloudian deck and wrecks me every time.

EDIT: My name on there is also Blubcreator if anyone wants to add me

I don't recall ever going on the site, but it looks like it could be a lot of fun so I might think about giving it a try.

If I remember correctly, then I believe that I have used it a couple of times. That was about four or five years ago, so I hardly remember it much. Now I tend to use Duel Monsters Genesis, which I personally believe is among the best of the sites. The card database is probably the largest one out there, as it contains cards that appear only in the anime and also cards just released in Japan.
From what I recall, Dueling Network did seem like it was fairly easy and quick to get signed up, make your deck, and duel. Duel Monsters Genesis takes a bit more time and is more complicated than Dueling Network. If you do join, don't go looking for me, as I am rarely using it. But if you just have to know my username, then look for Satisfaction is Number One/ Kaiser.

I like DN, although a lot of the people on that site are trash. One time some guy tried to negate my bottomless trap hole with a naturia forest, then he tried to negate my magic cylinder with an MST.

Yeah, DN is pretty awesome. Unfortunately for me, it seems like everybody else is way better than me. One of my best decks does a lot of healing, summons "The Winged Dragon of Ra", then uses the boosted LP to strengthen him beyond belief. My other good deck is a Lightsworn deck. My DN name is also righteousnoob.

Dueling Network, don't get me started on this.... Whether it's people who don't know rulings; people trying to cheat; people rage-quitting because they've made a mistake or couldn't get their Exodia combo off/going against Exodia/Chain Burn; waiting for an admin.... it just irritates me that Dueling Network is ruined by hoares of "noobs".

Now I can't say much because I'm playing Sparks OTK, but I still need to have an element of skill when it comes to dueling. It's rare to find decent duelists who'll enjoy the game and not being petulant about the small things, like not seeing that you shuffled your deck (which did happen a few days ago), or calling a deck boring because they're getting beat by it in a highly-rated match.

I love dueling network.
It feels great that you get to customise your deck in any way you want without having to buy cards with real money, unlike the official online games.
The only issue for me is that everything has to be done manually.
From getting rid of your life points to playing cards and there isn't any restriction to what cards you play. Even if it's only one problem it's very irritating because it makes it easy for anyone to troll you by playing over powered cards for no reason or getting into arguments about what should happen in current situation when you play a certain card.
But still it's a great online game.
It's been a while since I've played Dueling Network I do play it now and again but not as much as I use to.

Sam24 : My main complaint is from one time when a random person (who didn't speak English, by the way) played 5 high level (10 or something) monsters on his first turn and attacked me 5 times. I tried to tell this...person that nothing he did was allowed, and he ranted at me in Spanish for a while before quitting. It seems like these are all the people I get paired with...

Its a good website but sadly too many players don't know proper rulings on cards and will try to cheat. Sadly you have to wait a long time for an admin probably due to so many people not playing correctly and not enough admins.

If anyone wants to avoid the cheaters and ignorance that plagues DN (which frustrated me to no end) I've been using a MUCH MUCH MUUUUUCH better system called YGO PRO:

http://www.ygopro.co/

It's free, though you need to sign up (just use your DN info for ease) to download it. That's right, DOWNLOAD it. Because it works both offline and online (offline you'll be dueling the AI each time but whatever. Good practice). The system handles all the rules and loopholes, usually fixing whatever mistakes and habits you might make through dueling on DN. No more cheaters, no more rule-sharks. Plus, the system handles calculations, drawing cards, almost everything but playing them, so there's no confusion, no complexity, nothing. Just quality, fun dueling.

It's also great for learning how to duel, because the system doesn't let you make a move unless you can LEGALLY make it. That mainly means NO MORE "Oh yeah, I used Soul Charge so I wasn't supposed to attack that time" or anything stupid or similar to that. You can still talk to people through the chat bar and whatnot, and there are NO MODERATORS because the system handles ALL OF IT. You can also save your duels in Multiplayer mode so you can watch them later or show them to friends. And one of my favorites, Duel Puzzles (those 'win in one turn' puzzles you saw in some of the video games). There's like a hundred or more of those puzzles. Lol

They don't update as quickly as DN (about a week or two apart to update YGO PRO's database in comparison to DN, though they also have the OCG cards just like DN) but they allow you to use the Anime cards (yes, the overpowered cards you ONLY saw on the anime!!!) It's awesome

Oh yeah, they also have all the Speed Spells and whatnot, so you can finally make a Turbo deck also like in the anime! In comparison to DN's database, YGO PRO's database is MUCH MUUUUUCH bigger and better.

Btw my name is Zeldisaster on both sites, though that only matters on DN... Figured I'd just use this name anyway since a lot of people know me by it. You could just add me on DN lol but I'm never on it anymore. I like YGO PRO better.

The graphics look VERY similar to the video games, which is awesome. You can also customize it! (easier to check a Youtube video about that though)

That post kinda sounds like I'm being paid to say all that lol but after reading through the problems you all have that I've been frustrated with myself, I needed to promote the crap out of it. It's the much better system in literally every way.

Dueling Network is probably where I spend most of my free time honestly. It is a great place to get better at the game when you don't always have money for tournaments. If anyone wants to duel me my username is LechugaDiego.
