What do you think about the Wii-U? I am thinking about getting one since the 2DS is coming out and the price will be reduced. Is it worth it? What are some pros and cons? What games are good? Any information is appreciated.

The most important thing in making a decision like this is having a first-hand experience. If you haven't tried the Wii-U, you should try it and get the feel of it!

Honestly I have just been waiting for some decent games to come out for it before I buy one. With the newest version coming out with a price drop and Windwaker HD included (read about that here) https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=64571

I feel like now's a good time. Some good titles are coming out for it within the next year including a new Zelda title so I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick one up.

Why would you buy a wii u for a bit more for a 2DS as well? The 2DS is a strange idea. I cannot see how you are ment to use stuff like street pass on it. Honestly I think nintendo are going down hill. What they need to stop doing is thinking outside the box. They are making very ambitious decisions with next gen consoles. The wii was a great Idea, but that does not mean the wii u is good.

The concept of it is great, but I feel it is only good on certain games like The Legend of Zelda games. Nintendo were actually rejected by Minecraft because of poor sales which is embarrassing!

I think you should get it, since some future titles have potential in on the console. However do not get the 2DS with it, it is a small waste!

I was reading about the 2DS a bit, and it said that the Wii-U may experience some drastic changes if the 2DS were to be successful. If the 2DS were to be successful, in order for Nintendo to keep prospering, they may change some aspects to the fairly poor selling Wii-U. However, if you were to wait for a supposed change, the price may as well go back up and the 2DS price may go down.

It is seemingly popular for people to disown the Wii-U, for it is competing with the PS3 and Xbox, both of which are much more advanced in gaming technology than the Wii-U. Even the PS Vita is slightly better in hardcore gamers' eyes.
Nintendo builds on family friendly games, which most of the time do not need the HD and graphics that PlayStation/Xbox games need, which open the door for criticism - the Wii-U can't live up to the fine detailed PS/Xbox.

The Wii-U is not bad at all, but seeing that is competing against such powerhouses, one can see why it is disowned.

I think the Wii U will actually start getting more sales now that they reduced it heck I may even consider getting one now for that new great price that comes out on September 17 I also been trying to get my hands on a Wind Waker as well.

I think you should wait a while to get the Wii U because there aren't very many games on it. I do think it is worth it because you can play regular Wii games on there and there are some pretty good games coming up like Mario Kart 8. I already mentioned the only pros and cons I can think of above.
