Now do you mean the English meaning of chips or the American, I am confused. I usually dip my Chips/Potato Chips in either ketchup or curry sauce. However if you mean chips/crisps usually have them dry unless they are Tortilla chips which I have with hummus.

Depends what the chips are. Some I like with cheese, others with salsa and spinach dip (which is amazing!), and even some with onion dip or blue cheese sauce!

For me it definitely has to be jalapeño cheddar cheese dip. Either homemade, or there is a fritos brand that tastes great, but could use a bit more heat IMO. This dip goes well with so much more than just chips. The spicier the better.
