I don't have a driver's license and I never will because I don't want one, because driving a car takes lots of money for things such as gas and insurance and car repairs, and another reason why I don't have a license because I don't want to be in a parking lot accidentally hit another car and then waiting for the car owner telling them I've hit their car and them to be giving crap about this!! And plus I don't need a license!!


And this thread is pretty much for people over 17 in Canada and 16 in the United States!!

I used to. Back in Canada, I got my G1, which is your learner's permit, and almost G2, which allows you to drive by yourself except on highways.

I have one but I don't really drive because:

1) I don't have a car of my own
2) In July I drove my boyfriend's car straight into a pole (I was very slow, though). It was an "harmless" accident but my bf doesn't trust me driving his car anymore
So I guess my driver license is for emergency cases only lol

I am not technically 16 like my profile says, my birthday is in february of 98' I made the other date up for security reasons. But I am still technically 15, and I am eligible to get my driver's license which I will soon. But at the moment I am without a driver's license. I will always be safe and drive safe as well as avoid making the wrong choices.

Annette : oh ok I see fair enough. It really doesn't take long to learn anyways maybe 4 1 hour sessions to get the confidence up and then you can drive basically and more experience and such will get you to a good level. Although I drive auto I don't know if i'll ever be bothered to learn manual.

Nope...but I can drive, believe it or not. I have driven a real car before for a while, we were on the interstate and my grandma fell asleep driving, so I had to pull over at a house 50 miles away, and ask them to call the tow truck...but I did not get pulled over, I drove about 60 MPH when the speed limit is 75.
