Well, I guess I had some short vacations. Like my last vacation was only 5 days but I'm not sure if thats counted as short. I guess vacations just feel like they pass by very fast. But I remember having even shorter vacations years ago.

I have only once. One time my family took my 5-year-old brother to hang out at his foster parents' house for 2 days while the rest of the family stayed in a hotel. That's the shortest vacation I've ever had and it was a lot of fun. I would call it perfect but I couldn't get the internet connection to work on my 3DS.

I used to rent a cabin on a lake for a week every year, I think it was the best part of the year.  Unfortunately, I do not get to do that anymore.  But sometimes short vacations are the best, I find if they are to long they start to get really dull.

Weekends? They are pretty short!

I have felt the summer holiday go pretty slowly to be honest. It probably only dragged on because the only proper holiday I had, which I define getting out the house, was at my nan's house for half a week. Pretty boring since, they lived in the country and the connection was pretty bad!

I took an intensive course at college last year. During this school year (September to September), we only got two weeks off. One of those weeks was for spring break. I bought a plane ticket to spend eight days in Michigan with my then-fiance. It was totally worth it. But for obvious reasons it felt like it went by too fast!

Every time I leave the city to go somewhere, something happens that makes the trip shorter. We go to Albany one summer and not only do we go the wrong way, but after we go the wrong way we get stuck because of a hit and run feet from our bus and we could not move for hours. then we had to go back home. Things like this have happened at least a dozen times over the past 5 years.

I feel like I will only be on vacation for a day because that is just how fast it goes by, I mean I will go on vacation for maybe 1 or 2 weeks but yet it seems to go by like nothing. I guess it really goes by when you are relaxing and having a good time, but when you are bored it just creeps by.
