Why yes, I've use to do that a lot when I was 8 years old!! One time I've said to me Mom I was sick, then she said to me if I'm sick, stay in bed with no t.v. or video games, and then I said I wasn't really sick because I wasn't and then went to school!!

My mom used to go to work before I got up for school, so I would be at home alone before the bus would pick me up, so sometimes I just stayed home. Also if I got sick for real, I just sometimes said the following days I'm still sick. I didn't go to school for an entire week once.

I have actually done it quite a bit of times, and they usually work out! So, either my mom is easy to fool or I am just good at this. So I really try not to miss school unless I am legitimately not feeling well. So that is why I can't do that. Plus, it's kind of stupid since I am healthy for the entiren year, save maybe a few days of winter, but healthy nontheless. So in my opinion it is kind of pointless because then I am overloaded with work when I come back to school.
