I was playing Pokémon Soul Silver, and I was in Mt. Silver preparing myself to defeat Red. While I was trekking through the mountain, I saw a shiny Ursaring! I immediately called my brother and we just sat there staring at the green Ursraing. I caught it ! 
It was a beautiful day for a Pokémon Master.

Well I've caught a shiny Pidgey on my old FireRed, a shiny Poochyena on my Sapphire, and I have a technically hacked shiny Suicune in my owned Pokemon Black 2 version. 

Now on here I have two more shiny Pidgey's, a shiny Cyndaquail, a shiny Murkrow, and a shiny Machop. So let's see all together that's about 8 shiny Pokemon. I sure am lucky. This reminds me of the time I catch legendaries with only one pokeball...

I am now at about 9 or 10 shiny pokemon that I have captured and I am pretty happy about it, I haven't really been breeding using the masuda method or even consecutive fishing to get shiny pokemon lately, but I hope to get a shiny relicanth and whishcash next, I know where to find them, but it takes a while. But I am REALLY looking into getting a shiny honedge though, that would really be something. So as of right now I have about 10 shiny pokemon, 8 of which are from pokemon x, hopefully I can make that number go up even more!

I have captured three shiny Pokemon. In Heart Gold, I caught a shiny Gyarados (part of the story line, but still a shiny ) and a shiny Geodude. In Pokemon White, I caught a shiny Watchog and accidentally killed a shiny Vanillish... :

Looks like I am at 9 now, 8 of which are from pokemon x, I had about 3 shiny poliwhirls, I now have a shiny poliwrath, and a politoed and they both look awesome, I also have shiny whiscash, gyrados, magikarp and a goldeen that are all shiny. I also have a shiny clawitzer as well which was the 1st shiny I got on X through consecutive fishing. Hopefully I can get more though, I am going to try and take on the pokeradar method even thought it is complicated, it is still worth a shot. Plus the selection isn't as limited.

From the shinys that I have caught in Pokemon, I only caught 2 which were Voltorb and Tentacool from Pokemon Diamond. Somehow I got lucky to catch them but I gave them away due to trading. It is an accomplishment when you catch a legit shiny despite of the time.

I have captured 3, one was the red Gyarados from SoulSilver, the second was a Tentacool which for accident i lost it because i earesed the game after 2 years and i didn't remember it, and the third was another Gyarados but i captured him in Pokémon X but i traded it over.

I have only captured a couple and I have been playing Pokémon every sense I was a kid. Maybe I just haven't had the right amount of luck to catch many more but I do plan on catching as many as I can in the future.

With the charm the odds of finding a wild shiny are 1 in 2,730.6 and while breeding the odds are 1 in 1,365.3. However, if you use the Masuda Method while breeding the odds are increased even further to 1 in 1,024. I suppose you could also try chaining in D/P/P, but I have very little experience with that.

I've only captured one, it was a Wailmer, now Wailord. It was on one of the Hoenn games, I don't remember exactly which one. Unfortunately though the game it's on is lost, man I wish I knew where the game was so I could transfer it up to the newer games..

That's what my friend told me and it worked for me so feel free to try raising the 0.5 percent chance you already have .

I have caught a good number of shiny pokemon, I seem to be one of those very lucky people who seem to be able to find a lot of them. I have caught 13 of them. That number does not include the red Gyrados that you find on the lake, as I think that should never count. So, 13. Even if that is an unlucky number, I really don't believe in that kind of thing, so I am happy to have so many of them! I know not many people ever find any good ones, so I feel special.
