Where are the modern Mech Games?
I know of the 1990's Mech games.
But what happened to the next Generation demands?
I have only seen 3 modern games with zero clones to speak of.
Am I the only one that thinks this is odd?

"Armoured Core."
"Dynasty Warriors Gundam."
"Zone of Enders H.D." (Remake of P.S.2 Games.)

Honestly.
What's up with this? Is Japan Hogging all the "Mech" action with a Region thing or what?
Seriously.
After Gundam got on T.V.? There should have been some demand for Mech Games to have a Feast of games to try out.

The only ones I know of are all the same ones I grew-up with. What gives? I'm 30 now. There should have been a ton of Robot games to smash through on an X-box or a Playstation.

Post news, updates, favourites, or whatever concerning Mech games here.
Good Luck.
I'm done. Stick a fork in me.
Peace.

orionfoxgibson : No, you're not the only one that thinks the situation is odd. The lack of mech games is, from what I can tell, due to a lack of demand in the west. The games you mentioned above are the only mech games that I can think of that were actually released outside of Japan. I'm pretty sure Japan has some newer games, so If you were willing to play a game in Japanese, that would probably be the only way to play a newer mech game at present.

Edit: Actually, there is a game that was released by Square Enix called Front Mission Evolved for the PS3, 360, and PC. I've never played the game, so I can't verify whether it's good or not.

I don't know if it counts or not, but Misadventures of Tron Bonne on the PSX had some pretty entertaining mech style gameplay.  Good luck finding a physical copy unless you want to spend $150+

Mech isn't popular here, I think it should be though, because I enjoyed Zone of the Enders and Armored Core, and I want more of that here. It's a real shame it isn't as big as it is here as it is in Japan, but there's always imports that you could buy.
