Something tells me this is gonna be an amazing year for Square-Enix. With Final Fantasy XV AND Kingdom Hearts III coming out, Square-Enix is definitely gonna redeem themselves after the disappointment of Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XIII-2.

So here's my question. Which one are you most excited for and why? Final Fantasy XV or Kingdom Hearts III? Personally, I don't know which one to be more excited for. 

Most of the final fantasy games feel the same, but that is just my opinion. Kingdom Hearts is one of my all time favourites so I guess it would be understandable to be more excited about that then.

Anyone who knows me already knows which one I'M more excited for. ding ding, KH3!! It's been almost 9 years since kh2, and i've been waiting so long! since i never even thought this was really gonna happen, kh3 it is! FF 15 looks awesome too, but kh3 i'm miles more excited for. (YES!!)

I hop to get KH III. I like it. I also like Final Fantasy, I just like KH better.

Would it shock you if I said I have literally never played or even watched game play of either of those?

I personally am more interested in playing Final Fantasy XV over Kingdom Hearts III, but that's only because I have never played any Kingdom Hearts games before. It's not that I'm not interested, it's just that I have never been able to get my paws on them and getting Castlevania games has always been a higher priority for me.

I'm more excited for Kingdom Hearts 3 than I would a final fantasy game at this point. After FF9 or 10 it kinda wasn't the same and then when FF13 came around and dragged on forever I kinda just fell out of the Final Fantasy franchise. At this point I just go back and play all the old games. But Kingdom Hearts on the other hand still has a lot of freaking potential and i'm hoping it goes over well since they haven't made another full fledged 3d KH game for some years now.

And I kinda hope FFXV is good and doesn't drag on like FFXIII did..the battle system in that just wasn't all that fun to me so here's to a possible good next Final Fantasy game (for me at least). Also, I love you for the fact that Casltevania is a high priority for you. I don't know too many people who are all about Castlevania.

thenumberone : It wouldn't shock me at all. Some people just never get around to certain games and then later on theres a lot of hype for sequels of those games. They are some game series' I could easily recommend looking in to but as it is for every game, its all up to your likes and such.

YEs, excited for Kingdom Hearts 3 but not much for FF15 unless they've gone back to what made the series good. Squeenix has made it known that FF15 will be much like Kingdom Hearts actually, with a focus on Action RPG instead of the usual format from just a few games ago.


This doesn't sound promising and it's making me doubt Squeenix's handling of one of the most loved franchises of all time.

I never really got into Kingdom Hearts so quite frankly, I am more excited for Final Fantasy. I haven't played XIII or XIII-2 yet so I have a couple games the play before that. I have heard those two aren't very good though.

I am equally excited for both of them to be honest, I like final fantasy games and I have played a lot of them. But then again, I can really expect some great things about kingdom hearts 3, a lot of people are really anxious for this game to come out, and although I have only played kingdom hearts a few times, I might just get it because I have a 3ds. Who knows? I might just like it and get into it more.

I think that they are really just stretching FF out forever, they need to go back to what made it good like what name entry said. The older ones are the best in my opinion. But I would say I am more anxious for KH 3. 

 

Definitely Kingdom Hearts 3 for me. That series was my childhood and I can't even explain how excited I am for the conclusion of this arc. I am also excited for FFXV, but I never really played many of the games in the FF series (just VIII and XIII; both still unfinished) and it was mainly because of KH that I started. I think for XV, I'm mostly just excited about the animation. From the trailers, it looks absolutely gorgeous. 

Although Final Fantasy XV seems pretty awesome, I'm definitely waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3. Final Fantasy X was the last good Final Fantasy game they made. I miss the turn-based RPGs that Squaresoft used to make. When they merged with Enix became Square Enix, they series went downhill. Kingdom Hearts 3 doesn't look like it's majorly changed since the 2nd, though.

Oh, I love both Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts! I would probably be more excited about Kingdom Hearts coming out sense I tend to get stuck more on bosses on the Final Fantasy series..! I think this is going to be awesome.. even if it takes forever for me to afford and get to buy one!
