Just a thought here but should there be feature on your profile where you could block certain unwanted members from posting profile comments? Just a thought because I've seen some members spam profile comments and or make generally unwanted comments on other peoples profile comments which lead to them taking them off altogether.

I like this idea. I wouldn't mind being able to go to a users profile and block them from commenting on my profile (I probably wouldn't need to do this, but it'd be nice to have this). The problem would be that they could block profile comments from people they probably shouldn't, like a moderator if they wanted to post on their profile about something they might have done wrong, or something like that. This could cause a problem, but the idea itself is pretty cool.

This is actually a good idea. I have had a few unwanted users on my profile before. Now... are you talking about blocking them entirely... or just from posting on your profile, because that is a huge difference, and could change my stance on this.

FunnyFurret : I guess they could receive a notification saying something along the lines of " You (insert username here) have been blocked from commenting on the profile of this user (insert username here) ". ?And when the unwanted user goes to make a comment on the page the user blocked him ?from all the unwanted user would get is the same thing you would see on a banned user profile comments... nothing.

I like this idea a lot even though I don't really have this problem with pesky users on my profile, I think it would really be a good idea and it would cut down all of the drama that goes on by starting flaming wars on other people's profiles. I am all for this idea and I think it would be great. It would really save a lot of flaming and make it easier to avoid annoying users who mess around with you on your profile. I really think that this is a good idea and it could prevent a lot of spammers from posting annoying things on your profile. I don't see how this could be abused if staff (and maybe trusted members) were prevented from being blocked. Also, a good addition to this might to be able to block people from sending you private messages, so that they won't just switch to PM when they can't comment on your profile.
