My favorite US president would be either George Washington(1st president) or Abraham Lincoln(16th president). I like George Washington because he helped put together the country when it was just starting and I like Abraham Lincoln because of his efforts to end slavery in the US.

While I would like to mention Jefferson or Adams (The first Adams.)..
I have to go with Jackson. (The dude on the $20.00 dollar bill.)
He is the most interesting one to read about that does not put me to sleep.

I think Abraham lincolon is my favorite president, mostly because all of what he did, he was a great president and after seeing the movie I really have come to appreciate all that he did for our country.

I also liked ronald regan as well, he was also a good president as well, at least in my opinion. I think a few presidents really stand out, but these are my 2 favorite besides george washington.

1. He's a "keep your mouth shut and do your job" type of guy (something I believe most politicians are lacking today).

2. He presided over the largest economic boom in the 1920s

3. He ordered the building of Mount Rushmore (something I think most people don't know)

4. He signed the Kellogg-pact with a bunch of nations that outlawed war (even thou it was never enforced).

I like Jimmy Carter. He was a good President over his term. Down in Georgia while visiting relatives, we took a train down to Plains, GA. Lex Luthor.  lol just kidding :-).  And I like Carter too.  Not the smartest President, but a good man, for sure.  FDR is probably my favorite president, though.  His fireside talks and instituted programs got a struggling nation back on its feet.  I think several of the programs he instituted have lost a bit of what they were supposed to be, though.
