Is it just me or should the big Trials be taken off the news till they are done?
I get tired of wanting to see the news and having it cut off for some trial that takes a year.

I think we should be told what the crime is, who the suspect is and when the trial is but nothing else. If anything else was to be published it would have some influence on the jury stopping them acting impartially which is the whole point of a jury. Once the case is done the media should be allowed to do what they want unless there is an appeal is which case they should only divulge this fact. Some would say this is stopping the media being free but it is the lesser of two evils

This is pretty much why I get most of my news from the internet because they’re be covering something that I wouldn’t care about, especially if it’s out of state. I know they want to do it live, if so, why not put it on a court channel on T.V. then.

I dont watch the news. there featured articles are aimed at the masses. the masses are stupid. online I can read what I want, I regularly check up on europe, india, china, the usa and africa to see whats going on there. it never makes it to tv news
