Hi, I am Michel, I am a 22 year old male from The Netherlands (or Holland if you prefer that).
As you maybe already noticed from the title. I am looking for Dutch people who come and play games on this site.
The reason why I am curious for that, is because I am Dutch and if I look around, I Don't see much else as American People and people from Ireland and England. And I have to say that that's perfectly fine with me, really. But I would like to see just one other Dutch person in here. German or Belgian would be fine too. Just because I would like to communicate with someone in my own area. But once again, American people and others; sure I like to communicate to you too
Getting to know people on the Internet is just something I like.

So let me know if you would like to play a game together sometime or whatever.

You might want to try searching "google" or whatever in your native language.
Also checking out "Lets plays" in languages other than English on "youtube" might prove helpful.
We have a hanful of people from all over the globe on this site but the trick is finding the prime hour that they might be in here.
I would mention "Brigaind" but I am not certain how the cold weather nations interact with each other these days. (You "cold country people" tend to stay off the news over here in "the "U.S.")
But,
I am certain if you catch him on a good mood day?
He could prove to be helpful.

I have yet to find a French person here but, if people still speak that language almost everywhere?
Try using the "search engine" in that language for a bit.
Other than that I have very little to offer that might help.

I do live in America (ik leef wel in Amerika) but I migrated here from the Netherlands some years ago and am going back there before school starts again (maar ik ben hier gemigreerd van Nederland een veel aantal jaren geleden en ga voor dat school terug start weer naar of Nederland of Belgie) 

I'd like to meet more Dutch speaking people as well, when are you on?

Holland is not far away from all that, but really it isn't that cold really. If you take a look at denmark, then those other three countries are above and Germany is below Denmark. And next to Germany, on the left side is The Netherlands. Actually The Netherlands is situated between the UK and Germany.
Many Dutch people (here we say Nederlanders) are real gamers. There are a bunch of internet players and also many xbox and playstationgamers

But if you guys would tell me how we can arrange to play games together, then I'll say, let's do this.

thats not true, the swiss speak french, along with german and italian, and belgium is split between french speakers and flemish speakers. and its taught in germany and the uk, as well as several other western European nations.
iv encountered germans french and a belgian on this site. most arent really that active. 

I think I should explain about Dutch weather...
Let's start with summer.. In The Netherlands in the summer it's most likely that the temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees celsius (68 - 86 fahrenheit) during daytime. During nighttime, it will be just a few degrees less than it was during daytime.  In the Winter the temperature will be between   -10 and +5 degrees celsius (14 - 41 fahrenheit) during daytime. In the nighttime it can be much colder like 10 degrees celsius (18 Fahrenheit). In the spring and the fall it will be in between and are the most rainy seasons of the year.

You are right about the french speaking people. And I've should have mentioned it, since I am the one living in Europe next to Belgium.
I was just a little surprised that some guy thinks that all european countries speak french. 

I don't know how the germans, french and belgians are in playing games. But I can tell you that Dutch people are mostly orientated at playstation, xbox and pc games like World of Warcraft and what so ever. If they discover this site, they won't be here all day, or more likely not even every day or every week. Dutch people are also very social players. They like to play with friends when they are together. So I think that they wouldn't be as active as I am.

About the weather guess?
I have lived very close to the equator for most of my life. I even know people that have no idea what to do with "Sleeves". (Good question though. About how many people does anyone know that do not own jackets or coats? I have encountered a good quarter of California that would have no Idea of what to do with a jacket.)

About the Language guess?
I had a Soccer (Or "Foot Ball". Pick a term already.) coach that claimed that during the 1970's... "80% of the globe spoke French". (Guess I should have taken notes from the Olympics in the last handful of years. Everyone seems to knows English now.)

Sorry if it was insulting to have a western American guess wrong on too many things.

It would really put me at a disadvantage for getting around. Lord knows I cant get from point A to B without a sextant. (Its a good joke. Don't knock it.)

I truly believe that someone told you that many people speak french. But I believe that english has always been the main language in the world. French is still an important one, but English is taught close to be everywhere, just because of that. Everywhere is English, but where do you see French? So I don't think that French ever has been the main language in other places then french countries.
The thing about coats what your said can be true, you would know I guess if I read what you have experienced. The strange thing is that I heard that in the very warm countries coats and jackets are used. But just because they feel cold when it's warm to us europeans but for them it's like winter. So they feel cold and may use coats. BUT I am not sure, it's just what I heard, not what I've seen, but it sure sounds believeble.

Yes, I did have a good laugh. I find this one even very interesting. This is more true than what's in books.

the world speaks english because a quarter of the world spoke it for past 200 odd years. it makes sense for it to be the 2nd language.
still, many areas in places like africa speak french.

That the Netherlands is a cold country?
Well in the winter yes it can be cold and Dutch people like to skate on ice. Just because they can.
But it is not cold. It is not even every year that cold.
To do this it has to freeze a couple of days and you can skate on the ice.
So I don't get your point,

Actually my Dutch friend said that this painting shows that the Netherlands used to be  a colder country it is today. I have never been down there so I only have to take his word for it, but he said that there havenot  been eather cool enough for the rivers to freeze in many years. So I take his word that the country is pretty warm now. Well, compared to the days of the Brueghel family at least.

It's not that it was never again cool enough to freeze rivers.
In that time it was colder for a longer time I guess, and... it will never happen again because in that time there were barily ships in dutch rivers.
Nowadays there are a lot of european ships in the dutch rivers, so the water is always flowing, so it will never get the chance to freeze.
But it is interesting that a river can freeze.
