i have a level 15 larvitar in my firered right now that i got from seven island....i've been really lazy when it comes to my portable games for a while so i haven't gotten around to training him....i have a salamence and a metagross though in my sapphire.

I picked the third one because it sounds the best and I like the variety as well, Tyranitar is super powerful and has great moves and magneton is also pretty good even though I would personally love to get a magnezone, I have never had one before. Pupitar is hard to find though, I only found him in a cave once and the other time I had to trade to talk to someone in a game to get one. I wish it was easier to get one from the wild and train it from there, it would just be easier. But I think the 2nd team is the best because of the variety of great Pokémon, good stats and also great moves as well. So yeah I can totally agree with salamence on how infuriating it can be to find  a wild larvitar to train. It is just such a good Pokémon.

The second one is probably the most well rounded team.I might have gone with the first if Tangela wasn't the grass Pokemon though. But with Arcanine, Tyranitar, and Blastoise, you have a great core team.
