You know what tiny abomination terrifies me more than anything else in the world? Well, anyone I know IRL will be able to tell you that it's CENTIPEDES. I've been in life-threatening situations that didn't scare me the way centipedes do. I've been chased by a rabid pit bull, and that animal scared me less than the small creature you find under your sink when you're looking for Windex. I'm even scared of DEAD centipedes. When I encounter a house centipede, I immediately leave the room I'm in as fast as I can.

Now here's the weird part: I find them fascinating. I could sit down all day and watch stuff on National Geographic about them. I could watch them kill prey for hours. For whatever reason, I think they're awesome, as long as they're not near me. I'm not sure what's wrong with me.

Is there a thing that scares you the way centipedes scare me? Spiders? Bees? Heights? Worms?

I have fears of basically either spiders or extreme heights. I think those are 2 pretty common fears and the most popular. Otherwise nothing else is really scary to me, I have seen it before though, there are some pretty ridiculous names for fears out there. Like here are some really weird ones:


Bromidrophobia- it means fear of smells or body odors
Clinophobia- fear of going to bed
Pogonophobia- fear of beards

There are a whole bunch more out there that I have never even heard of that I thought were really sort of funny in a way if you think about it.  But yeah my only fears are of spiders and heights, so arachnophobia and acrophobia, I have never really been scared or fearful of anything else.

I recently discovered that I'm afraid to be around scorpions have you ever seen one up close they look disgusting and odd.

Centipedes are cool looking but I certainly would not enjoy having one on me! My phobias are arachnophobia and hydrophobia. Those two are pretty extreme for me. I am absolutely terrified of spiders, I don't even know why. I can't see big ones or smalls ones, I can't see them in real life or even on TV. Even here, someone posted some cartoon picture of a spider, I actually recoiled. It's the worst for me when video games or movies have spiders in them, I just completely freak out! If one ever crawled on me, I am certain I would pass out. Now with Hydrophobia, I'm okay with small amounts of water like a pond and obviously taking a shower but I sometimes can't even do baths. It's always a huge drag for me in the summer when my family wants to go to the beach, I am just so terrified of the ocean. I will just stay on the sand and watch from far away.

I have none. But have you guys ever heard of a phobia of overflowing things? Especially toilets or large sinks. I have met quite a few people who are absolutely terrified, where they run out of the room quickly and usually cry for some one else.

I know there are a lot of weirder phobias, but they fact that this one is common enough is just funny.

The only thing I still have a fear of is the fear of bees because even for a 20 year old guy, I still get a little freaked out when I see a bee, a wasp, a hornet, a yellow jacket, or any of them.

Heights 
I hate heights I always will like I will fall in any second whether or not I'm close to the edge and then I start breathing heavy

Well, guess what? I find them in my house ALL the time. Most of the times I see them are when they are crawling in my sink and it is very gross and nasty! Eww..

I have a lot of Phobias. But, my main ones are Bugs, Being in a small space, and people. Yes, people. Ah, and I live in a very social area. Life, you're cruel.

My biggest phobia is roller coasters. I haven't been on one before, but one time I was at Disney World and there was this one ride that was slow and peaceful at first but then there was this huge waterfall in the middle of the ride that we rode down super fast. I haven't gone on any rides since and it's been 3 years since that happened.
