Well, hello everyone once again! It is very nice to see all of you! So basically the title is self explanatory. Is soda and other carbonated beverages bad for your health? 

Well, in my opinion, if you drink too much soda, then it might actually hurt your bones and affect it negatively. I have heard several times before that  soda could shrink your bones if you drink soda too much in one day. 

Well, even though it tastes good,  I actually do agree that it may be bad for you if you over do it.

What do you guys think? .

Soda is bad for you in other ways as well. It's empty calories and is a fast way to gain weight and decrease your metabolism. It's definitely okay to use in moderation though, like occasionally as a reward to yourself or on a special night out with your friends. Also diet pop can be worse than regular.

I think all soda with caffeine in it is bad for you because caffeine is pretty much like sugar and sugar is bad for you so caffeine is bad for you.

Soda is great for people that are on their feet all day.
For me it does allot of good.
The gas leaves my body fairly quickly and I often go weeks without adding sugar into my diet. (Not enough time for desert.)
If you sit for the majority of the day?
It can cause allot of issues particularly with things like "acid reflux". My relatives that are retired complain of acid reflux all the time they have a list of foods they never touch. Many of them are things I enjoy regularly.
Soda on the other hand can cause allot of problems for younger people if they are not as active as say .... "the average jock" in their school.

Then the caffeine problems come to mind.
A rule of thumb is no caffeine 5 hours before bed time.
Keep it in mind and soda is a good friend.

My cousin cut out all soda and changed to water, juice and milk... And she ended up losing about 30 to 40 pounds in a year.
And it's the caffeine in the soda that hurts your bones. My friend Jenn can't have much more caffeine otherwise she'll get full blown Osteoperosis.

Of course it is but not to bad. Jones is a great soda i dont think its as bad for you as others since it has no corn syrup. But ya soda is bad but not enough to not drink it.

Yes, soda is very bad for your health if not taken in moderation. Even in moderation soda can be very bad for you. I would just be careful of how much you drink of it. Personally, I love soda and drink it all the time!
