Now I've made this thread because I Just generally felt I needed some kind of good response. In the main channels these days Just don't seem to have good as much shows/cartoons that they used to have in my opinion. Aka I'm pointing a finger at Disney channel Nick Cn And disney XD.  My main example would go for Something Like American dragon jake long. where disney Xd Now has something like Ranny cummingham 9th grade ninja. So what's you're thoughts do you think the newer Shows are getting better about the same or Just worse then the classic shows they used to have?. As for me i'm totally saying worse do to The horrible remake of Teen titans on Cartoon network. (If this is in the wrong sub fourm then Local Mods : feel free to move it)

Everything you said is actually true everything they show on t.v is pretty much junk.There are some good series out there but there are more bad series than good series.I think this is because the younger kids today like different stuff than the other children back then.Nick Jr. Rules!

Yeah, there are just some shows that are good but are getting dull now like spongebob for example, it was good until the movie came out in 2004, and now some of the material is not as funny or original as it used to be. Then there are some channels that I use to like watching because they are educational and fun, like the national geographic channel used to have cool shows that come on and nowadays the stuff that comes on is like redneck fishing, gator boys and all of this other lame stuff that has little to nothing to do with science at all. So that is my opinion on the topic. Also channels like nick, cartoon network and disney all used to have some good shows but now it is just boring stuff that comes on now, so yeah nick has some boring shows now and some channels have just gotten worse like national geographic and shows that are barely related to science.

No not at all I agree, the main channels that should have a long going series just are not around anymore. The best series currently in my opinion is on USA and that's "suits". But USA isnt really a main series provider so I don't count "suits".

Television in my opinion has completely went down the toilet when it comes to cartoons and creativity in cartoons story lines and plots. I think television networks have completely run out of ideas and they are just re mastering older cartoons and pretty much just trying to make them more humorous but its epically failing and its making the older cartoons that we loved look like utter pointless crap.

Even many sitcoms are that way now, and it's really frustrating when you can't find something with a good story or good characters to connect to.
