I like RPGs because they sometimes have an open world feature like Skyrim. I also like side-scroller because they are mostly platformers and I love platformers. So my two favorites are side-scrollers and RPGs.

I can play games from all genres honestly so it's really hard to say. I really like open world games, from pokemon to gta. I like games with good stories, the kind of games that even after finishing them you still think about them. I still remember the emotion storm that went inside me when I finished bioshock infinite, it's a game that I'll never forget. I also like hard and challenging games, but the fair kind, not the ones that expect me to have super human reflexes or in other words - unfair games. (like "I wanna be the guy", it's just unfair)

I love MMOFPS games, they have very good graphics, realism, and great gameplay.

Off topic: But every game in the world, no matter what gametype it has, will be hated by players because of hackers, yeah... will happen sometime in every game and we know that.

I always been a huge rpg fan. Any type of RPG really from Pokemon to Kingdom Hearts to Skyrim. Especially since they usually got a great story to go along with them too.

My favorite games definitely fall under the rpg category more often than not I prefer a leveling system a good story and something I can go brain dead with for hours and be kept on the edge of my seat it seems to be the best choice practically based on how great some of the rpgs out there are and were. Although some rpgs are not great and some of which I actually enjoyed while others didn't which is sad but necessary.
If not rpgs I would go for cinematic games like Metal gear practically due to the ridiculousness of the game itself.

I honestly have always loved the RPG genre games because jsut the idea of living the life of someone else has always intrigued me, it's probably the reason that I started playing videogames, I was always a fan of Zelda and Metroid, and well Pokemon is a must that I have played over and over and would love to see a console or PC game for. Ever since I got into PC gaming I have witnessed MMORPG games and well SAO just made my love for those to explode so I am saving up for a better graphics card in order to be able to have a neat experience when palying MMORPGs. I especially like the Final Fantasy series everything seems so original and the graphics keep getting more and more gorgeous as each new game comes out I am seriously looking foward for the next final fantasy. Well as you just saw I love RPGs

If you asked me this 5 years ago, I could have said Racing, easily. But, lately I have been playing Skyrim ( an RPG ) and the Gears of War series ( A TPS, or a shooter ). I guess I really do not know what it would be now. if I was forced to pick something, though, it would probably be shooters, as that is what I have been playing a lot of lately.

Barathemos : I always love great action, so RPG is not exactly my style. I love action/adventure games. However, from little on, I was raised on arcade games. That sort of is in me. My favorite games are action/arcade platformers, but if you can toss a score in there for all the levels--that is my ultimate favorite style--The Action/Adventure Arcade!
