I have found a few games that don't save my games when you save them in the game. Is there any way for me to save these games or anything I am doing wrong. If anyone could tell me what to do or point me in a certain direction it would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Try the F2 method, try the double-click menu method, or try using a different emulator for said game.

As far as I know, the F2 method should work, but your game will NOT load until you actually load it manually... so that may be another probably, maybe you have already saved it... but didn't load it.
