To be honest warmaker, nobody really knows. That's like asking if heaven exists or not... it's only what we've heard from other people... the only way to truly know is to experience it yourself, but even then... you can't convince everyone if it's real or not.
I suppose if every single person every living disappears from earth (dies and goes to heaven or hell)... then I suppose it's just another planet. Like Mars or Pluto, it's just another planet of which some life form will take over sooner or later... sooner or later, something will become the new life form besides us humans. Plus, the only way for ALL of humanity to die would probably be something like a massive worldwide plague of the earth blowing up or being burned/frozen because the sun goes away or because the moon disappears.
Like honestly, nobody really knows what is real or not... there are many "beliefs" and "opinions" and "facts" according to us humans, that's like us humans saying we know what happened while cavemen were around... sure, we've seen drawings on the walls and everything else... but we don't truly know what happened to life itself...
Like, how did we know that dinosaurs disappeared because of some meteor hitting our planet or something... we didn't have technology back then, so how could we have know what happened to dinosaurs simply by studying their bones and dirt? You can't honestly know anything that happens unless their is 100% factual proof and evidence of the situation.
Sure, we could have said "oh, there was a meteor crash sighting one time..." well, maybe the meteor created the great basin or something...
Religion itself is a complex situation, religion was created by man... because someone somewhere said they somehow met Jesus or Budda or whoever is of a religious icon. That's really all religion is, it's a person or group of people coming up with a new idea that there is always someone higher in power than us... if that's the case, then the president must be a god or something... cause he's higher in power than 99% of us.
Heck, if you even think about it... religion doesn't make sense for the most part. You have people saying "do not sleep with thy neighbors wife" or something like that as one of their religious laws... but people still do it. You have priests that touch children because they will come up with some excuse like "God wants this..."
You have people killing each other over religion because it's different from one another, and yet... your religions say that you shouldn't be killing people.
Or even the bible or man says "you cannot breed or mate with your own family" and yet... Adam and Eve were the ONLY humans on earth... so how does that work... like seriously, religion is EXTREMELY flawed... and questions like these will only provoke a flame war or something because many people find religion to be a bit "complicated" or "unexplained".
