I've never used a custom cursor.  I like using the default white one.  I think it's probably because I'd get distracted if I used a bright colourful one or something.  I'm not all that into customization.

Well, I remember that I used to have a custom color changing rainbow cursor before and I think I got it from some program called cursormania from what I remember. But it had to use an annoying web search tool bar on my web browser at the same time so I no longer use custom cursors anymore.
