Nintendo Direct has announced a third sequel to the Yoshi Island series. Graphics are more improved and it will be on the 3DS. No specific release date yet. Never really was good at those games, but I might try it out. What do you think about this game?

I don't think it will be a new game. I think they will try making it easier by making it a remake. There is a chance that it is a new game, but I don't want it to rely too much on being like the older games, while still feeling like the same series. I really hope that the game makes good use of the touch screen.

I'm really excited about it. I love the first two games in the series, and looking forward to this one. I hope it is NOT easier though. Something that make the series more fun than, say, he Mario games, is that it's difficulty is for pros. I'd get it if like DKCR 3d, they make an easy mode, but I really don't want them to back down. I want a challenge while playing.

I'm hoping that the power-ups you used in the 1st game comes back to the 3DS, mostly I didn't like the DS version, although you can control 5 different babies, but you didn't have any power-ups.

I didn't really like the first one for the gameboy advance but did like the one for the DS so I'am quite unsure if I will be playing the new yoshi island unless they add something to the game that would make me want to play it such as some minigames new powerups would be quite interesting but alot of information about the game hasn't been revealed yet.

I always liked the Yoshi's Island series, and I'm really glad they announced this game. It gives Yoshi one more game to headline after a good 10+ years without him as the main attraction, which is great. Can't wait to see what they put together.

I've only played Yoshi's Island DS, but I absolutely loved it. The gameplay is very unique, as well as the story. When I saw Yoshi's New Island, I thought "completely original title" that it looked pretty fun. I can't wait until it comes out!
