I have heard so many odd responses to folks describing my voice it is always amusing.
I use a tape recorder to record my music from time to time and my voice sounds Good to Most but I shudder every time.
What I hear when I speak is one thing.
What I hear on a recorded tape is another thing all together.

My voice sounds younger than I am still. (I am in my 30's.)

I have to work to sing songs in a real Dark Bad@$$ Metal manner. You'd think after smoking for ten years.......Blah, Blah, Blah.

Due to my Voice and Looks Decieving people into thinking I am younger than 30 I have a knack for comedy.
Most of the time it works.
Other times people think I am being Disrespectful. (Might be because many of the youth are lacking in respect lately. I have no Idea why.)
Then they find out my age and they often apologize.

(This is an odd trend I have to mention. I never have seen so many people my age or above apologize. ... That can fuel another thread. Anyone who wants it can have it.)

What do I sound Like???

I honestly not sure to us our voices sound normal but to others they sound off at times but there is one person that actually told me if my voice was deep or not and believe it or not he actually said my voice was low pitched.

Honestly I have a mid-deep voice....
Sorta the average for people my age anyway.

Mine doesn't really sound how I would like it to, it isn't that deep and most people comment on how I sound different when we talk through various means of conversation such as skype. Seeing as I mainly speak to people that live in America, they always comment on my strong accent. Other than that I think I have a pretty boring voice lol

Mine is a little higher than I would like. It is rather stereotypical for an English guy, as in the kind of voice where you would expect me to say "tea and biscuits". Think of my voice as a slightly younger sounding Totalbiscuit. Of course it seems that with a voice like this, and I can confirm this because of many other very british sounding people that I can do impersonation voices which is pretty cool sometimes.

My voice sounds kind of nasally and highish-pitched. I have heard people say I sound like I am 5 . 

alsonic : Mine's medium-low but on Video's and when Recorded it's pretty weird, it gets way higher then it should normally be.

You can tell I have a "man's" voice, although not as deep as my father's. But when I hear myself speaking (with a mic, for example), I think I sound rather monotonous

I've got a fairly low voice for a woman. But it's hard to say because the voice I hear when I talk is different from what others hear when I talk. It has to do with hearing your own voice through your head I think. But I often get mistaken for a guy when I talk.

I take it a few Skypers know what my voice sounds like a bit.

I have the whole "self-conscious, don't really like talking" bit most of the time, too. When I somehow don't, I can sound like Mario. o.o;

If you have a deep voice, that is perfect for Choir!
I have a deep singing voice, so I was an alto mostly in choir.

But I wanted to be a soprano (Sp?) so bad, so I worked really hard in my last semester and choir, and succeeded! So yay!

Anyways, I have a very high pitched voice some people say.
And others say I sound like a guy.
Its really something I'm not quite sure about...
Maybe I just have something in between there..

I couldn't describe my voice in a word that wasn't synonymous with annoying.

I guess I'd say it's kind of a dumb voice, that makes me appear dumber than I already am.

I'm not a fan of it, so I try to avoid speaking in person, prefering the internet and texts to get a message across. Awful hard for someone to make fun of you when they are ALSO wasting their time on the internet.

alsonic : If I tell you the truth, my voice doesn't sound like a normal 11 year old kid should have, it sounds like a 15 year old British Dude.(that's because the British kids have very thin voices like a 12-year-old british kid sounds like a 5 year old Indian kid. We Indians have deep voices lol)

Lol so, I have a deep voice...

I have a pretty deep and mature voice considering my age. It's not so low that I my speech is barely understandable (like some kids my age) but it's not high like a 10 year old. It's pleasantly in between whenever I talk normally. If I for whatever reason sing, my vocal range would be from baritone through mid bass.

My voice is a bit higher than I would like it to be. This annoyed me earlier, but now I'm just fine with it.
Sometimes my voice is deeper though.. It somehow depends on my mood or the person I'm talking to, I guess.
