I'm torn between Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl. On one hand, I prefer the speed of Melee, but on the other hand, I'm used to the physics engine of Brawl. Not only that, but I prefer the character cast of Brawl over Melee, particularly with the additions of Ike, Sonic, and Toon Link. Unfortunately, Link takes a huge speed hit, so it's a little more difficult for me to like Link in Brawl.

I also enjoy Playstation All-Stars. Obviously, the gameplay style is similar to that of Smash Bros., but there are a lot of minute differences that makes it a unique experience. I'm not sure if I like the way the kill system works out, but I like the diversity in the character cast and their movesets, but my favorite aspect is just the fact that it is sheer carnage all the way around. I favor Smash Bros. because I think it's more competitive, but sometimes I just want to tear stuff up, and All-Stars allows me to do that.

No doubt in my mind it has to be Marvel V's Capcom 2, this game I have wasted for many quarters on in the arcade and it was the only time I actually bought something from the PSN store.

I like super smash bros brawl the best because they took out the bad characters such as mewtwo and they made most of the characters not overpowered such as fox in melee and pikachu in the original super smash bros.

I love Super Smash Bros Brawl. It has only two bad things about it. The online play is truly dreadful. It has lag, not matter how good all the players connections are. That is rather dreadful considering Nintendo have done games with fantastic online play such as Mario Kart Wii. The only other issue I have with the game is some of the characters are lazily made, such as Sonic, having two spin dash attacks, and Toon Link, who has the same moveset as Link. I would rather Link be faster and they get rid of Toon Link.

For me, Imma be the odd one out and say the Soul series has been my favorite. The character design is always stunning in one way (drool-worthy like Ivy, Siegfried, Sophitia, and Z.W.E.I.) or another (Yoshimitsu, Tira, and Voldo for their garish or otherwise shockingly colorful costumes), and the scenery is almost so good that it's distracting. As well, it's an easy game to learn, a difficult and rewarding one to master, and, unlike many fighting games I've seen, has a decent storyline.

Personally I just like street fighters, it may seem old school but it is just one of the best fighting games out there, all of the characters are ugly, but it is still an awesome game. I usually play either Guile or Ryu, and  I win most of the time. Combos in the game are difficult, like trying to do Ryu's signature Hadouken  is hard, in the one I play, you have to press like 5 buttons really quickly in the same direction as the person you are sending them too, and by the time you press one button, you have already been subjected to a KO. Super smash brothers Brawl is also another good one, it is fun and there is such a wide variety of characters to play from, I usually play R.O.B or Link, and win. I could play that game all day, but it is more fun when it is with two players, and I put the computers on a good difficulty to where it is still an even match and it presents enough of a challenge to keep it interesting. I love these fighting games mainly because I play them a lot and they are just fun. SS brothers brawl has like 1000 characters and that's what keeps it fun. These are my favorite fighting type games.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is so far the best in one of my favorite game series of all time. This game introduced me to gaming and nerdiness, and I love it for that.

sedo45 : Once in awhile I do, though I haven't been able to find my disc (been playing Tekken 6 mostly). I also used to do a lot of both Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament in arcades. I haven't seen a true arcade in a long time, save one in Vegas.
