So, for some reason, I can't edit my own posts all of a sudden. The edit button on my posts disappeared and I can't do that. Anyone know how to fix this? Help!

I remember this happening to me. Usually it fixed itself when I logged in the next day.
Maybe you can try logging off and logging back on and if that doesn't work try again tomorrow.

ooooh yeah!!!!  This was something I keep thinking is originally from newbies, and that's the only reason I didn't respond to this: The only thing I could think of was how newbies have limits.

However, I remember that this did happen to me when I wasn't a newbie.  I forgot that there IS a limit for every member.... not just newbies. It's a pretty high number, but you ARE limited on how many edits you can make in a day. So the others are right... you'll just have to wait until tomorrow.  If it MUST be done before that, you can always ask a global to do the edit for you.

Surgiac : Yeah there's a lot of restrictions on the board because there's always users trying to find loopholes and trying to find ways to cause as much damage as possible. The bigger the site gets, the more this becomes a problem. Fortunately the higher your powerlevel, the less restrictions you have.
