so lets disscuss something i have been hearing about the mystery of toad who is he what is his pupose is he evil you know all this stuff this is just a fun little thread to help think of theorys my friend have been going crazy over this topic  i think heis in between imean think about it when bowser terrorizes somewhere or took over the castle toad is spared but he helps mario i think he is a spy or something what do u guys think

I don't think so. Toad always seems like the scared guy. You never see him trying to fight even for his life. Proof in super Mario snes where in each castle except for the last one toad is in it and not peach. 
Plus if he was a spy he could easily hit them when they aren't looking. 
And sometimes you need a messenger to deliver your demands and such so toad would be the perfect person to leave in the castle and tell Mario what happened.

I think that Toads are residents of the Mushroom Kingdom. Maybe Peach is their leader and Toads are her servants. In fact, I'm pretty sure that there is no Toad that appears in 2 games (Except for ports).
