For me I choose "Code Geass" it"s supper cool to watch, you can't guess what would happen in every episode plus there are some unexpected scene like a death of some important  characters. It's pure strategic anime.

For the longest time, my favorite anime was Death Note, but after watching Steins;Gate, that change.
So I would have to say my favorite is Steins;Gate.

I've actually watched quite a bit of anime but my favorites would have to be:

Yu-gi-oh up to the GX series. (After that the series just becomes bleh.)
Dragon Crisis!
No. 6
Pokémon
Fairy Tail
Zach Bell
Black Rock Shooter
and
Soul Eater

Of course they're not listed in any particular order, those were just the few that I could think of.

I like watching anime (most of them anyway), but I'd say my favorite one would have to be Dragon Ball Z.  There was no other show quite like it.  I also enjoyed watching Claymore.  I'm disappointed about it only lasting 30-something episodes but it every episode was acton-packed!  If you liked Inuyasha, this story was very similar (only it didn't last as long).

Hmm, my top favorite anime would have to be Inuyasha/Inuyasha:Kanketsuhen(Or "The Final Act" in English). Followed by Naruto/Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Onegai Teacher and Death Note.

I almost forgot about Beck...I think its by far the best anime about music.

its a strong tie between Bleach and Fairy Tail. still not sure if being a soul reaper or a elemental wizard would be better! though im nearly through with bleach and only on 48 with fairy tail. so maybe in the end it will be Fairy Tail, but i dont know
