I would choose Johto and Sinnoh ,because I think those two regions have the most imaginative and well diverse Pokémon in them.

Hoenn and Johto to maximize time spent surfing. I would choose Sinnoh and Hoenn. First of all, you have probably the largest selection of legendaries in the history of ever. Secondly, all the starters of both regions are awesome. Finally, the two regions, in my opinion, have the best stories. Also, they're very non-linear, which I always like.

I'd love to see Hoenn, and then Johto. I love Pokemon Emerald, and the remake of gold and silver are close favorites... One great game plus another great game equals one even greater game with two great games in one.

Hoenn has more great Pokémon, and seems to be the most lively, even around the volcano. Obviously there's a lot of water, but it doesn't bother me. I think the people that don't like all the water are the ones who pick Torchic. They are just jealous.

Without a doubt I would probably mix Hoenn and Unova or Hoenn and sinnoh. I just like the atmosphere of all of the regions and the pokemon selection is great!

A game that had EVERY region so far would be fantastic, for the WiiU/3DS perhaps. A game with all the Pokemon. Then again, while the game would be good, it would have terrible market value for Nintendo as it would make every other game they had obsolete.

my reason is kanto was the region i grew up with playing fire red and watching the anime.. and also it would be cool to add the orange islands in a game because .. as short as they were they had some pretty unique gyms..
