There are just so many good games for the system. I usually find myself playing Pokemon Gold and Yellow a lot (both legendary games). The Duke Nukem port for the GBC is quite good as well.

Well of course you can't beat the classics, such as pokemon and final fantasy games. But I also love the Fire Emblem Saga, it's just one of those games you hardly get bored with.

If we're talking just specifically Gameboy (as in the original), then my favorite is Link's Awakening. I've always liked that game! If we're looking at every Gameboy game from each console, then Dragon Warrior 3 is definitely my favorite. I've only beaten it once, but I will never forget how awesome the game was and how much I liked the GBC updated version. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a Final Fantasy-style RPG with a lot to do and an excellent story.

Super Mario Bros.  Classic game on a tiny black and white screen, that was how I remember beating it the first time.  Sure we had it on the NES, and SNES..but it was a whole lot more fun not having to share it with my brother, he used to hog the game systems on me.
