Davideo7 : Cool, thanks David, I will have to try it out on a couple games and see what I come up with. I downloaded Free-make and didn't have any problems with the install, after un-clicking the toolbar garbage it was fine.

I know this is a really old thread, I just wanted to say it shrunk my 5 gigabyte video into a 100 megabyte video . I used it for the Mario Paint contest there is going on and the video is 35 minutes long (I had no idea what the controls were xD). If I didn't see this thread, that would've been terrible! Having to upload a 5 gigabyte video... . Thanks for this .

So I used the Freemake Video Converter to reduce the file size and it works great but at the end of the video it puts a five second long image of the logo. This is a very minor annoyance but I was wondering if anyone figured out how to get rid of it.

Just so everyone knows, the newest update seems to put the company logo before & after the video (unless you pay 9.99 to remove this) but still Freemake is very much a good program.

I haven't had hardly any issues with it other than the very few and far between freezing of the program when I try to edit out some footage, but you can even save your editing progress at any given time without altering the over all file, so even then it's not an issue when editing out many small parts to a long video. 

I would recommend this to every one who ever needs any form of editing or video compression done.
