i just started a pokemon game and i couldnt decide which starter to pick so i want to hear what starters you would pick for each region.

i would probably pick  bulbasaur, cyndaquil, treeko, chimchar and oshawott

I'd personally use Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Treecko, Turtwig and Emboarr.

(As you could probably guess, I like grass types. I only picked Cyndaquil because, let's face it, Chickorita is pretty bad, even though the only time I used it it was okay. I picked Emboarr just because I don't care much about Gen 5 and it was the starter I picked the first time I played it.)

I gotta say Squirtle, Totodile, Treecko, Turtwig, and Snivy... Just the one's i've picked for each version as my starter i've grown to like them.

Hmm, well I like all three of the starters in Kanto. I suppose it would be Squirtle since I like turtles a bit and water Pokémon.

 For the Johto region, it is between Chikorita and Cyndaquil... I think I would choose Cyndaquil if I was not considering all other starter, but Chikorita if I was; not many grass types I like and would want a little balance. I also like Chikorita since she can tank decently enough and keep herself healed (just seems like a she to me too, heh).

In Hohenn, it is all about Torchic, hands down! Mudkip gets boring when it fully evolves, and Treecko is kind of lame to me. Torchic's awesome final form, Blaziken, just is too awesome to pass off!

Now in Sinnoh, I would choose up Piplup. Originally when I started Pokémon Diamond, I chose Chimchar, and although he is decent, I just like Piplup's eventual dual type better! A nice, tanky water type! Turtwig is not a bad one either, but is not as awesome to me, plus the double ice weakness turns me off.

Lastly, in the Unova region, I chose Oshawott. I do not know enough about Pokémon Black and White to make very good statements of the three starters, but Oshawott just seems kind of like a cool little dude. My feelings on him might change as I get further into the game though.

hoenthis one is hard becasue i love both treecko grovile sceptile but also love blazikan. but i think  iwould go for treecko. eventualy trade an other pokemon to get blazikan later in the game.
sinnoh: chimchar
unova: havent payed atention to that region. but i gues the water type Oshowatt  he's pretty cool
