There is a lot of music in Mario games that are good, and some music that is bad. If you had favourite music from any of the Mario games, post a reply on my thread and tell me why you like it. 
Just to start us off, I will tell you about my favourite music. I would have to go with the music from Super Mario/ Luigi galaxy. I've got a passion of Mario Galaxy music. Why? BECAUSE I'M CRAZYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! Just kidding. I really like the trumpet part of Super Mario Galaxy. And I would like the Gateway galaxy's music. It's just so calming and I like calm. 
So if you want to post a reply to this, go ahead, just tell us what you favourite music is in any of the Mario Games.

And remember, STAY CRAZYYYYYYY!!!!!!! And calm.

For me, it'd probably be either the Underwater theme from SMB1 (Level 2-2), most tracks from SMB3, including Dungeon bosses and the like, and the first-world theme for SMB2. They're all pretty iconic games to me, more for better reasons than the other, and I have played these games since I was like, 5 years old even, resulting in having lived with this music for as long as I can remember.

I love the underground theme in SNES Mario Brothers game. It was my favorite, including the way it kind of echoed.

Other than that, I'd say the Star Road themes from the same game.

Themes that stand out to me are Count Bleck's theme from Super Paper Mario (that game has a really good soundtrack), the final Bowser themes from both Galaxies, and all the boss themes from the Mario & Luigi series. Also, Bowser in the sky from SM64.

I love most themes from the Paper Mario series & Mario Party series. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door has too many that I love, and Mario Party 6 & 9 have a LOT of soundtracks I love as well. I also like a few songs from Mario Party 1 & 3. :p

But I'd say that the main theme for Super Mario World, Rainbow Road from Double Dash, or the final boss for Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story would be the best. SMW is part of my childhood, Rainbow Road is the best song from Mario Kart, and M&L was the best final battle song that I've ever played.

I agree with tails the fox. The in Super Mario Galaxy is really good. Pretty much all the music from that game is amazing. My favorite is the music in Battlerock Galaxy. I wouldn't praise the Mario franchise for it's music but rather it's game play.
