Jordanv78 : I think it was either 23-9 or 30-9, because I know he had 1 TD and a safety, but I had either 3 or 4 TD's.

thenoobtester : Well as I said before, that doesn't really help us at all since neither one of you remembers the final score. So in a tie breaker situation you may not move on if you are tied with someone that has a higher total score from that round.

In the future take a screenshot of your final score screen, or just try to remember better.

OK, so my opponent doesn't want to play. I messaged him a lot but never get a response ever since he said idk. I don't want it to end in a tie. But I don't want to win by a forfeit. What would happen?

Okay so I talked to guy I'm suppose to face but he never replied (the guy I was suppose to face was coledude99). So dose this count as a tie or what?

Mooch beat me 31-10. It would have probably been closer if I hadn't gone for it on 4th twice. Note to self: The Vikings are NOT the way to go for this tourney. GG Mooch. And also, I don't think that if games end in a "Tie" due to not getting the game together, it should somehow count for less than a loss. I'm just saying I think that a person who actually played should be higher up in the standings than someone who didn't even try to play.

Jordanv78 : Well I did this. But before I did so and before I logged back into vizzed he sent me a message saying he would play me this weekend =/

I guess he didn't read the post saying we only have until Thursday 12:00pm CST. I sent the message saying to meet me in that chat today and mentioned the deadline for Game 1. Since I replied, I've been sitting in chat and on his profile since I got home from work (around 3:30 'ish pm EST). Been there for a good 10 hours. He never got back on to read my message I sent him. I really tried to get the game in today since I'll be at work tomorrow and deadline will be over by the time I get back home.

So I guess it's going to end in a tie. Shame since I haven't lost a single practice game (one game ended in a Tie) against 4 different people and about 15 or so games.

Hope I actually get to play someone next round.

Well, seeing as how dabest still hasn't replied to my pm, that's an automatic win for me (according to what Davideo said)

Due to my time zone and sleep schedule, I am most likely not going to be back at Vizzed by the time the deadline rolls around, so it'd be impossible for the match to happen at this point (deadline is 10AM my time and I'll JUST be waking up around then, more than likely).

I PMed my next 3 opponents, and I noticed than none of them submitted a score for round one, which makes me wonder, what if none of them respond to me.

yes I'll be rewarded a win, but as you said, the score would be counted as 0-0. Wouldn't that be unfair to me? I'll lose because of score most likely.

What if the top person from each division gets a bye, and then theres a wild card for those who were affected by no shows, who have potential of being in the playoffs or something like that?

I know its the first tournament and you didnt know what would happen, this is me just thinking.

My opponent has just PM'd me but unfortunately I won't be able to use the plugin until at least 2 PM central time, which (unless there is an extension) is too late to play. So I guess my match-up will end in a tie.

I guess the lesson here is to try to plan your match right away and play it sooner rather than later. It's difficult with everyone rushing around to try to get games in at the last min.

Also we knew that some people wouldn't show up to play their game for one reason or the other...I was just hoping it wasn't this many lol

Jordanv78 : This is kinda why I decided to have 4 games before having elimination rounds. This way all of the people taking this seriously will be in attendance in the elimination playoff rounds. I also though 3 days would've been plenty of time but I guess not. Either way, there's still 3 more games of "regular season" so we'll see how it goes.

Davideo7 : Oh don't get me wrong. You have done everything you could to make it as successful as possible. There isn't much you can do about this.

Really for the games that have taken place it's been great. We should definitely keep having netplay tournaments like this.
