Mario RPG is a great game, as well as the first Paper Mario for the N64. I also played Mario and Luigi Superstar saga on Vizzed and realy enjoyed it.

It's fun to take characters out of their normal genre and place them into something new. This was done flawlessly by Nintendo to really add some excitement into the Mario Franchise.

Paper Mario was pretty much my childhood game before I discovered EarthBound....
I've never really played Superstar Saga or Partners in Time, but I REALLY loved Bowser's Inside Story. I think the Mario RPGs where pretty good......

I love the Mario RPG games. I can't get into Mario RPG, but I love the original Paper Mario, and the first and third Mario and Luigi games. I hope to be able to play the newest Paper Mario game soon. I can't really choose between Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi though. They have different styles, but both are amazing.

Personally,I don't care for the paper Mario games,but I loved SMRPG on snes,despite all my bad experiences with it(MEMORY ALWAYS GETS WIPED AT THE FINAL DUNGEON)I woulda liked the GBA game more but it didn't "get going" fast enough IMHO

i havent played any paper mario games but i have seen some walkthroughs on youtube and the game looks so good. i have played lots of mario RPG games and  think they are better than normal mario games.

I love Mario RPGs. They always manage to feel original. I love RPGs, but so much of the time it feels like you're just picking up another clone with the only changes being a few statuses, new characters, and a new story. Mario RPGs have never felt that way to me. They feel fresh everytime.

I really like the Mario rpgs.
I've had one game for all the rpgs except for Super Mario Rpg. The thing about these RPGs is they have special qualities in them.
Super Mario RPG had the usual rpg system with a Mario Twist, the main Paper Mario series (not super paper Mario) had no effective power stat, meaning that power would be obtained with badges or gameplay progression. In Mario & Luigi, you had the ability to completely dodge attacks. Because of this, it would be hypothetically possible to beat the game at level one. Taken to an extent in Partners in time, where late in the game [no spoilers... I hope] a time bomb would explode in three turns, but if you correctly countered the enemy's attack, the time bomb would be destroyed (it held a spinning spiky ball). Super paper Mario was a platformer with rpg elements.
