Because his name was Dirtier than he actually was. I always Thought His Weapon Should Have Knocked At Least Half of all the Robot Masters Life Bars. You have the ability to pull a "Captain N" and Pause Time. Reverse the dozens of shots that are fired at you to test if the enemy is weak against his own gun maybe. Something. I always thought his weapon was overtly useless. But His Name Always Got A Laugh. Good Luck To All. That's it. I'm Done. Stick a fork in me. Peace. Because his name was Dirtier than he actually was. Hmm... I actually like Mega Man himself (the original) quite a bit. I like the whole power-stealing thing a lot which is where my initial interest in Mega Man games comes from. Also, he's blue which helps :p

I'm tied with Mega man X and Flash man. To me, the original Mega man looks like a kid. Mega man X looks like a teenager who later on in the X series, grows up to an adult.
