I would pick Kamek/MagiKoopa because they're not really much of a threat, they star in fun Mario games, and I like the art for Kamek, according to Nintendo, which I'll show at the bottom of the screen. And ten people voted for Hammer Brothers? I like their design, but in Super Mario Brothers (1985) they just tick me off.

I would have to say Hammer Brothers. As tough as they can be that is also why I like them. In some games they are durable, hard to hit and usually they are two. Unlike goomba's or Koopa troops that just walk and really don't do nothing. The Hammer Brothers make you earn getting past them. In Super Mario Brothers 3 they become more of a challenge. I've always liked the koopa. A basic enemy that turns into a deadly weapon! It doesn't get much better than that. It's especially nice when there are a whole bunch of enemies on the other side of the koopa.
