Okay, so I had to revise this... cause I figured cursing throughout the entire post was a bad idea...
But basically, I love anime... its always been amusing to watch, but because I'm a person who is rather "disciplined" and "laid-back"... then I see anime episodes (of pretty much any show) where people are all "emotional" and stuff... and I'm like "oh my god, it was a good anime... and now people want to get their emotions into this, like come on... just go back to killing things and be emotional in bonus episodes where I don't have to give a crap."
No offense to anyone (especially the females)... like, I'm not sexist or anything... but after seeing HoTD and then remembering High school when I was younger... I was like "oh yup, that's how most females are... snobbish and absolute b****es." Like honestly, no offense... but that's the truth and you all know it... you would never date a nerdy guy who actually cares for you, but you would totally date one of those jock a***holes who didn't give a crap about you.
Like I know many of you are going "no, I would date a nerdy guy if he was cute..." and then bingo, there is your next flaw... you only date people based on either their looks, social status, or money status. But when it's a guy who isn't all that rich, doesn't have that many friends, and isn't exactly like... freaking sparkly-vampire like Twilight or some jock (or something), then it's like "nope, don't even know you."
HoTD pretty much represents real life (except for the whole zombie thing at the moment, although I wish the world would end that way... it'd be better than what it is now probably)... you have people who are stuck-up (Hisagi & Rei), people who cheat on others (Takashi), and people who get left behind because everyone else is part of the "in" crowd and you aren't (Kohta).
To be honest, Kohta and Saeko should have gotten together... both of them are excellent fighters, and both of them are disciplined... but nope, the only interesting female in the entire series gets ruined because she has a crush on Takashi who doesn't seem to take relationships seriously and ends up flirting with every girl in the group (cause he's a lowlife piece of ****).
So yeah, I love anime and all... but seriously, anime these days is going into this state of "realism" that it's just like "of course... the nerdy guy gets ignored and the jock gets it all" or another state of realism where "the poor get left behind to die, and the rich get flown to somewhere safe"... Pshhh, people these days... oh how they all sicken me.
