I like anime in general, but as I've said in other threads, I mostly hate every...single...female...character...ever. And the recurring 'types' of males, too, but the girls...ech. Either they're squealing, totally unnecessary, clinging, helpless, annoying, so cute it makes you want to gag, and/or stupid...or they're the total opposite-manly, abrasive, nasty, backstabbing, vicious heartless and utterly cruel. And the boobs. Seriously, what's up with anime chicks and boobs? I understand the appeal of boobs, fine, but most of those girls could knock you out with those things.

I loved anime since I was watching DBZ, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! when I was younger.  

I like Anime because there are no real rules to make one.
Granted there are several formula style shows But like "Sin City" does for Hollywood there are a Ton of shows that break tradition. Some are like living Comics Some are like Living Video Games and Some are just New Movie or Series Concepts That break away from the mold of what has been traditional in cartoons.
Lupin the third does this allot. Goemon for example looks like he is there for "Product Placement" till he does his thing at exactly the right time. Sometimes he's there for five minutes. Sometimes Five hours. He's almost like the Classic "Token Character" thrown in for "P.R." purposes done right. It's Always Funny To see THAT MOLD broken with what they do with Goemon. Even Though He was intended for other purposes other than what I stated It's fun to watch just to see what they do with that character in that show.
But all of the characters are interesting. Even if they only have a few seconds on screen. All of the Cast is doing something interesting that adds to the story or the enjoyment of it.

That is just an example from one show.

Several Anime Shows do several unconventional things with their shows that always interest me. Sometimes its story. But Often its Just the art.

The Art...
Is like a box of Chocolates. "You never know what you're gonna get."
Dragon Ball (Young Goku with a Tail) has a saturday morning kids show look.
Dragon Ball Z (Adult Goku without Tail) has a 1990's American Comic Book look.
Lupin the Third looks like Mad Magazine in a paint mixer with Oil Pastels.
Gundam Looks like Transformers on Steroids.
There are no Rules.
The art is the best thing about it.
We have Great, Normal, "Live Action Movies" to watch from Hollywood But the Animes from other countries are so Wild a person can't help but look at least once.

That's what I got for that subject today.

I used to like watching all sorts of anime, but I started noticing recurring themes to some of them and just had to stop.

Pokémon is the one anime I continue watching, even if I need to catch up badly. Watching Pokémon may be more of a nostalgic feel to it, or a way to pump me up to play the games more than really getting into the show.

I enjoyed Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop, but after seeing all the episodes, I am rather tired of seeing them, and want them to lay to rest. Almost the same with Deathnote, but I probably could watch the series once more. Watching it for the first time is absolutely more exciting however, as you are trying to predict what happens next.

And then there are shows that make me just shudder. I was watching the .Hack anime series, and majority of it was good until I stumbled upon the Legend of Twilight series. Oh god it made me cringe. Especially hate when there are anime girls that having that annoying, high pitch whining, or show up as if they are going to do something useful, and end up just being captured for the protagonist to save.

Some anime just seems like very generic themes that just uninterest me too. I do not know the names of some, but remember seeing girls in a school setting that I heard was supposed to be funny, but when I watched it, I just kind of spaced out it was so boring.

Certainly can't say I dislike or hate it. Anime is the epitome of animated entertainment and spectacle; and though a lot of the undertones and setting reflect Japanese culture, anime is still made with the idea to be relatable... humanly and internationally.



From there, one could argue whether a particular series was the good kind of spectacle or not.  



Anyway, I'm not too into anime because it certainly takes time to devote yourself to a series, and popular series nowadays are those that are ongoing (e.g. Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, etc). More recently, I've been interested in finding good anime that are considered masterpieces and must-watches, while being less than 50 episodes. 



Pokemon or Bleach or InuYasha may be good ones, but I've lost interest in following due to their length. I suggest shorter classics like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Death Note.

I love anime and never disliked it. I watch it when I'm bored and have nothing else to do the main one is dragon ball z it is one of my favorite ones of course when I watch it my mom tells me she wish she could do what I'm doing but she has to work lol.

I love anime there are some I dislike but that isn't a lot so far lol
First anime I ever watched was Dragonball Z and I have been an anime addict from that moment on :o
With such a huge choice of anime to be found all over the Internet you can never get bored there is always something new to watch when it comes to anime

I'm a fan of anime due to the wide variety there is and the fact it isn't just for kids like the American and British cartoons.

And anime covers a lot of genres making sure there is something for everyone.

I like animes because there awesome in many ways .

I like some Animes because the stories and the characters are good, but I don't like others because they're overdramatic and hard to follow. P.S. I like the "muffin buttons" caption!

I love watching anime. The best i like out of it is that animes can have a really thoughtful story within it. And sometimes even things who tell the truth about things in life.. So yea i love it. Watched a lot of anime.

the anime i don't like would be the short anime without a story plot or anything..
the story is most important for me to be willing to watch a anime..
if there is no decent story. There is no desire for watching it... oh well.. I didn't follow much animes..
i watched hell sing, full metal alchemist and full metal alchemist brotherhood ( i'm actually re watching this serie. Done brotherhood. Now re watching the first season again), soul eater, bleach, naruto, bleach fairytale digimon beyblade (the old generation) medabots. This are the anime that i followed and done watching.
i didn't really watch beyblade for any special reason. There where dragons in it. And ancient tales. I liked it.
same goes for medabots. The act of medabots beings before human is like believing in aliens ha ha.
digimon was for obvious reasons ha ha xD we all know digimon is amazing!

Oh well i guess that's kind a it..

I love anime because it can be very interesting with a good plot and solid storyline, fun because of action, has limitless capabilities of portraying things you can't do in real life or it can sometimes take hold of your soul and make you think deeply about what has happened. Also, the funny moments are always outrageous.
