So... Would you rather: Freeze to death or burn to death? I'd rather freeze to death because It would be less painful and you would have a better chance of surviving.

So I have a couple of questions:

Why is this in the pokemon thread?

What do you mean by other ways to die (does not involve objects)

Why don't we have a choice for other ways to die (does involve objects)

And how can you freeze to death and survive it?

Lol. Honestly, I'd choose to freeze. You just go to sleep and don't  wake up. Painless, worry-free oblivion.

thudricdholee : POKEMON THREAD!? Local Mods : I messed up. And also, you would have a chance of not freezing to death by simply walking (If your legs aren't frozen or numb) to a warmer area!

zelda2 :

(sandwich post alert, lol. Sorry)

Yeah, pokemon. XD Whoops.

What i meant though was you can't call it 'freezing to death' if you do not, in fact, actually die.  It'd just be 'getting really cold' and possibly 'getting frostbite in uncomfortable places'.

Local Mods : Summon fail. Wrong place.
But I would chose freezing, because I think it would be less painful then being burned to death.

kingvictory : LOL! Way to look on the bright side! I'd choose to freeze, because I don't like alot of pain. And I wouldn't like to suffocate to death, as would happen in burning. Betcha didn't think about that!

fire emblem10604 : I live in a place where it typically gets below zero on any average day (it's currently 23 but the windchill makes it a nice 17). I still don't agree with you-burning would be painful. You're aware of the pain until up to the end. Freezing is literally like going to sleep; you get sleepy, you slow down, you close your eyes...

The most logical death of the above would be burning.
Sorry to say but Freezing is far from a painless death.
You would suffer before eventually dieing. Whilst on the
other hand, if you were to be burned, as soon as your
nerve endings had burned away, you wouldn't feel
anything, and if the flame is hot enough you would
only smell your own flesh burn then everything would
go cold. Which is by far better than freezing slowly to
death with no warmth. So yeah.. I would rather burn
to death than suffer by freezing.... Logical enough?

I would much rather burn as prior to some beliefs it would be over almost instantly whilst with freezing (it is far from painless it's agonizing) would be horrible a slow painful death as you slowly lose you're mind becoming delirious occasionally coming to screaming in pain due the the effects of the cold. On the other hand i could burn and have it over and done with.

I'd choose to freeze to death because like everyone said its less painful and if someone ever finds me they may be able to either revive me or if they find it way in the future they may be able to use to determine how people in my time dressed, ate or even possibly lived depending what they find on me.
