Yes, the second header looks much better. It feels cleaner and the characters look great. Well done again. 

I don't know about why you'd have trouble putting up hyperlinks, but it's fine. We should all be capable of copy/pasting the url into our browsers and hitting go, lol. Don't stress about it.

I hope you don't expect me to use it though (even if they're really nice). The current banner I've been using forever and I plan to continue using it forever. Plus I want all the graphics on the site to be made by me (I've had issues in the past where users made graphics for the site and later demanded them to be taken down).
