I say..... NEITHER!!!
These different games are equally good, but we like each one for different reasons!
Like different delicious foods, you can have many different favorites but you like each for it's unique flavor. Sometimes you might think you like one better than another because you're just in the mood for the experience offered by that game at the time; then later like another because that's what you're feeling like at the time. My vote is all of them!

My favorite RPG games would have to be Monster Hunter. I love all of the Monster Hunter games. I can't wait for Monster Hunter 4 to come out. It just bothers me that all of the Monster Hunter games on portable consoles have no online play.

i would have to say pokemon since it has many charter(i you would describe the pokemon as charters) to play with to make you team very different . next with the natures and abilities you can make even more unique team since no pokemon or team will be the same. even though the story is basically the same it has depth to keep you busy  from the story with side quest and what not and finally it has tons of reply value to make each play though different form the last.
