I know you all are probably going to make fun of me, but for me it's:

1) Les Miserables
2) Life of Pi
3) The Dark Knight Rises
4) Resident Evil: Retribution
5) The Hobbit.

Yes, I'ma guy,and yes, I love a musical. Insert gay joke here, if you must, but I've probably heard them all.

Mine would be The Avengers. I haven't gotten to see Batman, because my Mom didn't want me to see the original Dark Knight when it came out, so I haven't seen that one yet. Didn't see Spiderman either. But I don't see how they could be better than The Avengers.

My favorite movies of 2012 are-
1)Ted
2)Resident Evil: Retribution
3)The Dark Knight Rises

Ted was just so funny, it had the best actors for the characters and all around a great film.
Resident Evil: Retribution was alright it made number 2 on my list just because the resident evil series is my favorite and has always been.
The Dark Knight Rises wasn't the best batman movie, it wasn't a step up from the last one it was a step down for me.

The best movie of 2012 is absolutely The Avengers.  There was so much nerdgasm in that movie theater that I literally was turning to my one friend just going "JEBUS H DID YOU SEE THAT ROHAEGIODGJAIEH" roughly every 4 minutes.

A close second would have to be Wreck-It Ralph, which surpassed Ted if only for the little cartoon that came BEFORE the movie itself.  Paperman.  AAAUUUGGGHHH it was so good.

I'm going to have to say Django Unchained would have to be the best film of 2012. Of course in my opinion. Once I say the film it blew me away with the tremendous performances done by Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Jamie Foxx's plays the heroic Django who is in search of his wife played by Keri Washington. So Django becomes a bounty hunter  with Dr. Schultz (Christoph Waltz) as his boss gathering up bounties, and collecting money so that eventually they head to Candy Land. The capital of slavery. The film does use a lot of the "N" word but the film truly shows you the realism of what slavery truly was before the civil war started. I would give this a recommendation to watch. A great film, and truly Oscar worthy.

The Hobbit would truly be second to it because we all know the story about how the one ring came to be, and we all know how it will turn out anyway. I truly did love The Hobbit but this is what makes me mad about it. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO HAVE 3 PARTS!?!?!? Have you seen the book. It's shorter then the lord of the rings books. Why bother make a film in three parts when the book is not that big? I think Peter Jackson decided just to make it in 3 parts for the money. If he wasn't all about the money, and focused hard on the hobbit like he did with the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy I think it would have made it to the Oscars for the best picture nominations. Even though they could have added one more film to add in the best picture nominations. So that was the only flaw in the film. Other then that it was amazing, and of course I don't care for 3D. It's over hyped.

I think this year was one of the worst for movies there was very little that I looked forward to.with that said I think ill have to give the nod to the grey hope 2013 is better

Batman Rises, it was epic

For right I would have to based on value and quality   I have would Spider-man Right or this month Starz is playing it and I have seen three times already I have would have to say it blows  the other spider-man films out of the water..

It was a movie that was not very publicized but was definitely one the best movies of 2012. In my opinion if it was not for the Scientology undertones it would have cleaned up at the Oscars. The Master is Paul Thomas Anderson at his finest. Great Film. .

Hmmm? In 2012? Well, I honestly did not see too many... so I am going to have to say breaking Dawn: Part 2. I am a huge Twilight fan and nerd, even for a 19 year old dude.

Superhero films get arguably the most hype out of any other genre, so it's gotta be between The Dark Knight Rises and Marvel's The Avengers.

Superhero comic fanbase is just too massive.

I can't participate in this topic because of direct bill me $74or $47 bucks for all my movies  channels  so they had to go.  Oh well there is  always DVD

The Avengers is one of my favorite movies ever. The amazing cast from almost all the other Marvel movies (sorry, spidey) are gathered in one place, making for a stunning presentation. The movie also gets right to the action, which I always love, and the final fight scene was impeccable. The humor was also very well-placed and hilarious.

The best movie from 2012 was the Avengers by Marvel studios.

I would most definitely have to say The Amazing Spider-Man because I am a fan of Spider-Man and The Avengers because that movie was just plain awesome!
