The biggest thing I was thinking that will end the world is the super volcano erupting in Yellowstone National Part, if that thing blow, it won't just blow a huge chunk of the United States and Canada off the map, but cause a worldwide problem that could end the world, and they said that thing is ready to blow any day now.

As far as the end of humanity goes, I think a super bug will kill us all. We abuse anti-biotics and household cleaning products. If zombies come first, all I know is I'm packing my things and living inside a Costco. O.o

The end of Earth itself? I agree with that "Big Crunch" theory you guys mentioned. It seems to make a lot of sense.

I used to buy into the big crunch idea until I learned more about Universal Expansion (which is the discovery that led to the idea of the Big Bang in the first place). The big crunch idea summed up is that the expansion of the Universe will slow down as all traveling things do. Once it slows down to the point where its speed is no longer overcoming the gravitational pull from the center of the Universe, everything will be pulled back in again. However, observation over the past few years have shown that the expansion the Universe has not been slowing down, but actually speeding up. This has led to the idea that there is something outside our Universe with a pull stronger than our Universe's center has on things in it's outer rim (aka: dark matter). So unless it turns out that the idea of more than one Universe is right, and there actually is something outside of our Universe, it will keep expanding forever, making the big crunch idea mute.

Well, I think humans will get very close to destroying the world, only to save it later. Therefore, I'd say some cataclysmic event in space will destroy earth, be it a star going supernova or a black hole forming close enough to Earth where it would suck us up. I don't think aliens will invade and destroy earth,  although I do believe in Aliens, I do not think there are any close to enough that would consider blowing up Earth specifically, or anything crazy like that.

I agree with that squid invasion. It could be possible. Depending if people pollute the oceans with certain chemicals, FISH can grow legs and wipe out mankind. However, if you go with the science answer, the sun will go supernova and "EAT" the first four planets.

There are many ways the world could end. We know that the world isn't going to last forever. Eventually, the Sun will die, and any life that might still be on  the planet along with it.

Due to facts and figures I can definitely say that Global Warming and Flooding will end the world. The amount of C02 & C03 that us as humans produce every single day. There's been over 260,000 Tons of Carbon Emissions have been pumped into the atmosphere alone, today. I don't think this planet has a chance against that. Eventually this continuous heating will cause further melting of the ice caps, blah, blah, blah, flooding will occur and most countries and continents will be covered in water. Wiping out Life.

Beyond that, once only humans remain, it shall eventually reach an 'every man for himself' mantra, which will then dwindle the human populace until reproduction is not possible (that is, if they were smart enough to keep some plants and animals alive as a food source).
