I apologize if some of this isn't correct, but I looked this up on the internet, and to speak the truth, Regular Show was actually supposed to be on Adult Swim because it had words like "crap" and "hell" in it, but somehow, Adult Swim or whoever was responsible screwed up and hosted it on Cartoon Network. My reaction: What the hell!? The prime example was the first episode aired on CN. in that episode, rigby said, "How the H are we supposed to fix this S!?" WHY SAY THAT ON CN WHEN IT'S SUPPOSED TO BELONG ON ADULT SWIM!?!? Since it used minor swears and a major swear, why host it on CN?Adult Swim should be hosting it, not CN. This might be the case why kids are learning swear words at like around the age of 8-11! But then, fans are going to send me hate PM's about Regular Show is supposed to be on Adult Swim is wrong.

I apologize to fans of Regular Show, but it was originally going to be on Adult Swim, and Adult Swim crapped up and hosted it on CN. This is a unforgivable mistake, and nothing like this shall ever happen again!!!

Well, It's true... It was supposed to be aired on Adult Swim, but, is that a problem?

Regular Show isn't the only show who was supposed to be aired on AS... Adventure Time was also supposed to be aired on Adult Swim too. The difference is that both were going to have a higher amount of dirty jokes and adult situations. However, No idea why, the idea was scrapped. 

Also, they only swear on the 1st Season and on a few episodes on the 2nd. One... They don't do it anymore.

Eddy88 : It's creepy that Rigby and Mordecai only swear in Season 1 and a few episodes on Season 2. Also, I believe CN said nothing about CN putting it on AS. CN must do a interview of the show or something before fans of the show have a rage war with CN and AS.

Regular show isn't really that bad. Most of the episodes are kid friendly and don't have anything really bad. Also it is rated PG so kids can still watch it.

Stevie 764 : I don't see why they did that. Spongebob was originally going to be an adult show also, but changed it last minute. But in that situation, the got rid of all swear words. They should have done that for Regular Show. I mean, how hard can it be to change h*** to heck and s*** to crap? It can't be that hard.

I think you're overreacting. For starters, kids don't learn swear words from their TVs. They learn them from friends who say them and from their parents. It's a really rare situation for a child to learn how to swear from a TV, only. It's a nigh on impossible for a child to learn it from TV shows that don't swear constantly (as in like: What the *bleep* did that *bleep* idiot do to get *bleep* so badly and then sent to *bleep*), like Regular Show - which may be like one swear per episode.

That aside, whether you realize it or not, all children are going to be exposed to swearing from the time that they are five and up, regardless of what the parents do to "protect" their child, unless its a family that has a crapton of money, has butlers to go buy everything for them, and has a private tutor for their child, on top of never allowing that child around the general public.

So. The short of this message? It's no big deal because kids are going to learn swear words from an early age anyhow - and it's not gonna be from the TV!

And a personal opinion on swear words alone:
They ain't gonna hurt you any more than somebody saying normal words. "Swear" words is just a damn category of words that some people in power created because somebody decided they didn't like them. (So basically, old fart on throne wanted to create new rule.)

Can anybody tell me why s*** is more offensive that poop? Hell more than agony? Damn more than condemn? f*** more than breed or sex?

It's a kids show nonetheless, because it has the same setup and flow as a kids show, and it has minimal swearing, or even sexuality.

Sure Margaret has breasts, but it's only being realistic. (Not the fact that she's a bird with boobs, but whatever)

They say "piss", "hell" and "crap", but those aren't considered swears in todays society, at most, they would give a movie a Y-7 or PG rating, and that's pushing it.

It's not harming anybody, and it sure as hell isn't going to change or influence children, because they already learned behaviors and attractions naturally.

It is an hour before AS because of this, but it's almost no different from Adventure Time and other current shows on todays TV, it's just more realistic.
