I like all the starter Pokémon, but I have recently chosen Snivy as my new starter. Now... what starter Pokémon is your favorite?

My favorite pokemon starter would be charmander. Why cause it was the very first pokemon I eve got and charizard is my most favorite overall is one of the reasons why.

I definitely like Feratigtr and all the other water types ! water types are cool !
Water > Fire ( Water Beats Fire )
Fire > Grass  ( Burn em' all )
Grass > Water ( No one picks grass ) 

i always liked oshawott but took a likeing to torchic because they are both epic at their last evolution stage but out of those 2 i would say torchic fors its epic evolution and for its awesome move set

I like tepig the most its so qute and so strong if it evolves into pignite and then into emboar

But seriously, this Pokemon was the first Pokemon I ever owned-and boy, did I love it to death! It was an above-average Pokemon until it became a Swampert. Hoo boy. Great offenses, great movepool, great typing (only one weakness), great everything! It is the best starter of all regions. Of course, Treecko and Torchic are quite good, too.

Tepig and chimchar are my favorite starter pokemon

thing1 : Treecko evolves into Grovile, and that evolves into Sceptile. Turtwig evolves into Grotle, and that evolves into Torterra.

My favorite starter Pokémon has to be Cyndaquil. I love it's final evolution because of how amazing he is.

I thought there were other threads like this...  anyway, I like Charizard, Typhlosion, and Swampert. If I needed to pick one for strength, I would pick Mudkip. If I needed someone to kill any type, Cyndaquil with Gen II move set would be my pick. If it wasn't Gen II move set, I'd say Charmander. But overall, I would have to pick Mudkip.

patar4097 : If it were just gen 2, I'd pick a different one for all the games because they are all awesome. BTW: I like your layout ~ Mario is pretty awesome ~ Bowser is my favorite.

My favorite Pokemon starter would have to be Torchic. I've played the games ever since the Trading Card Game for GameBoy came out (before Red and Blue), and I've never appreciated a starter as much as I have with Torchic. Now, being a girl, I was obligated to adore this certain starter's cuteness, but I also adore Torchic's power as it levels up and evolves. Combusken is a fairly even stat evolution, but damn! Watch out when it turns into Blaziken haha! Speed and Attack are what I'm a sucker for, so when I realized that Blaziken was strong in those areas, I had a field day, just destroying everything. Torchic was the first Pokemon I'd ever gotten that I wanted to take the time to level up to 100, and I did! Once he reached those astronomical strengths... Not a member of the Elite 4 was left standing mercifully... HAHAHA...

Anyways, before I go on a long, semi senile rant, I just wanted to say that Torchic is awesome, and that I loved it in a million ways!

No matter what, I always chose the grass type. From Bulbasaur to Snivy. With an exception. You see, I couldn't not pick Cyndaquil. I always chose him in gold/silver. All the other games it was Grass type..but in Gold/Silver, It was always Cyndaquil. I felt as if I didn't choose him, he'd be sad and he'd know I didn't choose him. I know he wont, but it makes me feel bad.
Anyway, I'd have to say even though I mainly picked Grass types for my starter, My favorite starter was Cyndaquil. I love it soo much <3
