showers i remember as a kid i always said im going to take a shower but i took baths so i didnt get the difference of it until i got to school so yeah i acually take showers never baths cause i think of it that you cleaning yourself with the dirty stuff you had and then the water got all brown and nasty haha so yeah showers thanks for the thread

I generally take showers, they are quick and better for the environment (at least that's what I've been told) and they still do the job. But it is nice to have a warm bath every now and again, more in the winter rather in this scorching heat. Both are relaxing but with a bath you can just lie down, Only comfy if your bath is.

I prefer showers to baths. In baths you are pretty much washing in water that you have been sat in for a bit, and washing with dirty water. But showers are clean, and fresh.

Both. I enjoy bubble baths, even at my age of 15. Although, I enjoy those showers with hard water pressure. It feels so good to feel the water hitting you hard. But, bubble baths are really soothing, and make me feel happy.

True, I would take a mixture of both, but with no laying in the filth and still relaxed. I would sit and shower. The water will fill up, but would empty it every 5 minutes. I would bathe, empty, wash hair, empty, fill up, relax for 10-15 minutes, and empty again.

As you said, it entirely depends on how I am feeling with aches and pains. Sometimes a nice hot steamy shower helps more than laying in the bath though. At least at my flat it does. I would much rather have my bath from my parents home, as it has 6 bubble jets in it.

I do however, always have a quick shower after I take a bath, just to rinse off any dirt I have been laying in while taking a bath. Just a thing I have always done I guess.

I like both, for me they serve two separate purposes.

It's true that when you take a bath, your basically just bathing yourself in your own filth. So, I take a shower and clean myself, and then I take a bath to soak my muscles and relieve stress. Some people find this weird, but I am weird, so I have an excuse.
