Just say if you own a working Atari 2600. You might say also what are your games.

Well, yes, I own a working one. I found it today in a flea market and I am very glad that it work, the Atari 2600 is the console I search the most in my life. But my controller do not work (Maybe it is too old) so I use a Genesis controller.


My games are: Pac-Man (It is not a really great game, but I wanted to buy it because it is Pac-Man), Pole Position (It is an awesome racing game that you should try), Space Invaders (It is a very good shooter game) and E.T (I buy it because it is the worst game ever, but it is not the worst for me lol).

That's all.

Yes I have a working Atari 2600, I have 11 games, and I am still buying more. It is a joy to have an Atari 2600 in my collection and to see any friend that comes over to my place be impressed by how fun it is.

I'm not sure :p I own at least 3, a couple of which I intend to sell and one to keep. One is complete in the box, but I recall it not working. It may have been just the controllers that broke though, which seems to be almost inevitable. I think the console itself powered on but didn't display right, so I have to clean it up one of these days. I have played plenty of Atari on collections, but I've never actually used a 2600 console. I can't wait to try it just to feel the original experience.

Indeed I do have a working 2600!  The very same that my father used to spark my gaming fire with in the early 80's.   He was a recovering arcade addict at the time.  I rarely fire it up anymore but still keep it hooked up to an old tv in the basement.  My fiancée loves to play "tanks" on the wii, it makes me smile remembering many Combat sessions with pops back in the day I have yet to come close to any of his scores on pacman or millipede.

Yes I surely do! My sister and I play on it all the time. It's really fun, the graphics may not be as good as they are now but I still loving playing the games on there. Especially Pac-Man. I know, wow Sun, you love to play a character that eats dots and gets chased by ghosts? Yes! It's funny to see how much the video games have developed since they were first created.

I've had an Atari 2600 since I was about 4 or 5 (20+ years) and it works to this day. Also have a working Atari 5200. The games I have for the 2 combined are about 30 or so.

I never play it though, it's stored away. I bet I could sell it for a decent amount but I'd rather just hang onto it just for the sake of having it I guess.

When I first got it, it was missing the power cord and it so happened that I found one at our local video store and I ended up keeping for a year and had a whole big shoebox full of games including pacman, pitfall, yar's revenge, and whole bunch of others. Anyway I ended up selling it for $40 all together. Been kicking myself in the butt ever since for it.

I have a working Atari 2600. I only have four games for it, though. I've got Space Invaders, Defender, Swordquest: EarthWorld, and Swordquest: FireWorld. I rather like Space Invaders, but I find the ship moves rather slowly.
