First post!

Another VCS. Too bad I can only compete on the weekends since I have school coming up. Guess I could compete for the first four days. Anyways, good luck to everyone who's competing.

Oh look, it's this competition again.
It's time to bring out the worst best of us and have a battle to the death fun competition about who can post the most.
At least it's just every three months.

I'll compete as I please, but i won't be one of those people who tries to spree all day.

Oh, god, not this again. I have school in a couple days, and I don't have time to compete because I am way too busy with "Pingy The Ping Idle RPG" on Kongregate.

Even worse, when school starts, my activity will decrease a little, but I will try to get some posting before I have homework every day.

I didn't even know this was happening only every three months, but I'm certainly glad. Post quality on Vizzed has increased 10000% in the past couple months. And hopefully with Starwars not in the running, this month won't be too bad either.

And no, despite my posting in this thread, I will not be competing in this months VCS. I don't even like them.

Yeah, David and I had a discussion about how to raise post quality, while making things stay sort of Vizzed-like... and this is what we came up with. Every 3 month cycle will have a VCS, TDV, and an off month. I find the VCS month is the spammiest, and the off month is of the highest quality.

However, I don't like the complete lack of activity that seems to come with off months. Hence, why the VCS is happening at all.

Not to sound like I am singling anyone out, but I took a quick look at each of the names of users who have been DQ'd for spamming this month. Their ages range from 10 to 19. None of them have been here long enough to gain real experience for posting on a forum. I would have to say give them the benefit of doubt but not remove any DQs. I remember I mostly hung around the Crazy House when I first started posting.

If it wasn't for school I would probably try and win this. I can compete because I have an iPhone but chances are that I won't win. I probably won't even come in the top 10.

Odds are if they are new, they aren't going to win the VCS to begin with, making the point moot.

The rules apply to everyone, including newbies. When I was new, I got DQ'd from a VCS for attacking the Crazy House. I'm just following the precedent that geeogree set for me almost 2 full years ago.
