I think this is my first thread not related to reviews or video games.... how do you do this? Anyways, I wanted to get this up yesterday, but it escaped my mind, so now it's two days late. I'm not sure exactly what to say besides... from humble beginnings. All I originally wanted was an emulator to play Super Mario Land, and then I came here, wrote some reviews, got feedback, made two more, applied them for a staff position, wrote reviews, became more social, started a new style of reviews, got demoted, and then today happened. So... yeah. 733 days of activity. In all honesty, I only meant for this to be a one-use account, I just wanted to play Game Boy online. Oh, and for those who are asking why I got demoted, I chose to because I felt I wasn't benefiting the site as much as I should have been due to my lack of activity.... time to summon people, mainly people who I've gotten to know well in the past 2 years. (sorry if that last sentence didn't sound good, I'm tired and just want to get this writing part finished)

Congratulations, man. I joined just to play a game as well, so I know what it's like to get sucked into this place. As for the summons, you have to put a space before the colon. But since you can't summon people with an edit, I'll summon them for you.

The only time I've ever seen a summon fail is when there's no space between the name and the colon (unless the person hit the reply to post button) or when the summon isn't at the beginning of a line. I guess it might still work for some people, but I think putting the space is a safe bet.
